Getting familiar with the group...
My new beauty decided to take a break today on I-290 in stop-n-go traffic! Both my hands were on the steering wheel. I'm too short for my knees to reach the START/STOP button and I was talking to a fellow Genesis owner on the hands-free phone. Traffic had come to a stand-still after being at a crawl for a while. When the cars in front started moving again, my car shut off, no overheating, no warning, no key removal. 248 miles on the ODO. The car was still in Drive and I could not shift to Park (wouldn't go). I put my foot on the brake and tried starting the car, nothing. After I turned on my hazards and started waving the people behind me around (about 60 seconds). The lights on the dash blinked which me think to try starting the car again. It started and I was back on my way with no other problems.
Scary! The dealership is all over this and I got a call back immediately (I left them a VM 2 minutes after this happened). Will post here what (if anything) is discovered. Thought this was worthy of documenting here in case anyone else has had this happen.
