I don't know why people are still allowing their Teslas to drive them places. The technology is excellent - but not ready for people to just let go of driving altogether yet. But people still do it. I'm grateful for Tesla offering a system as good as it is - and I'm ashamed of humanity for taking advantage of it and being so irresponsible...
???. This type of analysis might lead one to believe that buying an old school bus is really your best bet.
so much for being the safest and years ahead still couldnt prevent death.however the safety and technology trade off of the Model 3 being the safest car out there along with being years ahead in technology is worth it for me personally though if I was in the market for a small luxury car.
3 WIPERS , 2 SUNROOFS , A FRIDGE ..... NO....... I JUST DIDNT SELL YOU ON THAT???????. This type of analysis might lead one to believe that buying an old school bus is really your best bet.

Hear about the guy the other day that got busted flossing his teeth while his Tesla was moving along? Unreal.I don't know why people are still allowing their Teslas to drive them places. Fatal Tesla crash in Gardena being investigated by NHTSA
Young people don’t care about cars anymore. The focus will be on things like comfort, amenities, how quickly the car can get you to your destination...It's a shame that there is a trend emerging that indicates car enthusiasts will some day in the not too distant future will be so lazy that they're excited about their cars as appliances that get them from point A to B automatically. Basically just sitting in their quiet, boring, hands free chariots. What is there to be enthusiastic about? BORING.
It's like getting excited about a flashy LaZboy recliner. No thanks, i enjoy cars because I like to drive them.
Times have changed from when we turned 16. I had my license days after and a car a few months later.Young people don’t care about cars anymore. The focus will be on things like comfort, amenities, how quickly the car can get you to your destination...
what happen to trusting your life in a tesla stop by it self drive by it self, technology over everything , the safest vehicle EVER blah blah blah !!!! .Irresponsibility, malevolence and otherwise will always be a factor with any loss of life situation. Safety and technological advances, preventive measures and likewise can help mitigate and eliminate certain scenarios to reduce the overall injury/fatality rate, but you'll always have those that do not yield what they have responsibly, whether it be in the oldest Pinto or the newest Tesla. If you're going to gun it past a red light like this guy did, that's just reckless and unfortunately, cost two lives in the other vehicle.
In other news, Tesla surpassed GM and Ford combined today in value.![]()
It's just my personal opinion - but I don't consider any Tesla vehicle luxurious. They just don't feel that way to me. However, it's also my opinion that even though we're seeing deadly accidents with Tesla vehicles - that doesn't mean they're NOT the safest vehicle ever made. It's not the vehicle is not failing the driver - the drive is failing the vehicle.what happen to trusting your life in a tesla stop by it self drive by it self, technology over everything , the safest vehicle EVER blah blah blah !!!! .
in other news what does that mean for you? hyundai motors swept with the best car of year and best suv of year awards in 2019 and took 1, 2, & 3 in most reliable brands and do you know why tesla was not ranked ? because tesla decide NOT to participate in the test. meaning too many problems.
They seem to appeal more to technology that luxury. They have fake leather seats do they don't turn off potential vegan buyers. It's just my personal opinion - but I don't consider any Tesla vehicle luxurious. They just don't feel that way to me. I agree. And in response to your previous message, I had my first car the first day I legally could drive. They seem to appeal more to technology that luxury. They have fake leather seats do they don't turn off potential vegan buyers.
Yes, there are going to be those few drivers that are overconfident. (maybe a little arrogant?)
When a Tesla crashes it makes news all over. Similar accident happen all the time but if a Tesla is involved it gets more attention. The one that went trough the red light mentioned it is not know if it was on auto pilot. If it was a Honda or Chevy, you'd never hear about it.
i agree , tesla owners are over confident arrogant at the same time telsa fault for selling such product and making there consumers think they have such a feature "autopilot" . though even when using any auto stop feature it should have detected the other object and prevented the accident if being the " safest vehicle" like Mr.Dimitry claims .It's just my personal opinion - but I don't consider any Tesla vehicle luxurious. One of the big features touted by the autonomous crowd is reduced accidents and deaths. In theory and a perfect word the numbers should be reduced to zero. We know this can be easily achieved by looking at real world experience where we never had a computer crash or a blowout on a tire. I'm equally confident that drunks will use the "home" button rather than think they can drive. One of the meatiest questions society must answer in this regard is "How many deaths from autonomous vehicles is too many?" It is unrealistic to expect autonomy to make cars with no death and injury. If autonomy reduces death ten percent is that enough? 50%? Today we accept tens of thousands of deaths annually from our current vehicles, and why is that? What is the standard that new technology must be held to?
100 years ago automobiles/trucks brought so much benefit that the steadily increasing deaths as travel increased were accepted incrementally until the 1950's-60's. What benefit that autonomy brings will allow us to accept the number of deaths it inevitably will accompany?
These questions and others like them are impossible to answer now but the answer will be apparent in decades to come.
