Kind of where I am now as well. I’m debating on trying to find a pair of Kunstwek mufflers and just having a shop fab up a cat-back
exhaust for me. Friend of mine, that is a Magnaflow dealer, has been bugging Magnaflow again for me. But nothing concrete yet. Plus I’m still unsure of the Magnaflow sound when I’ve heard it on a
Stinger. Some the JunBL set ups sound amazing. But they also come with a hefty price tag after being imported.
The issue is that, at least here in the US, the G70 isn’t produced in high enough numbers to justify manufacturers To make G70 specific parts if there isn’t already a base to build off of. We benefit from already existing “bolt-on” parts shared with other Hyundai or Kia models, but stand alone G70 parts are few and far between.
Subaru
aftermarket is pretty expansive even with the low number of Subaru’s that are modified compared to say a Mustang. A quick comparison shows that in the first quarter of ‘19 Ford sold somewhere around 16k Mustangs. Genesis sold just under 6k G70s in the first six months of ‘19. And typical Genesis owners are a lot less likely to modify their cars compared to even typical Subaru owners.
