  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis GV80 Pictures

Thanks to all those who have shared so much 👏 especially the photos by Spill6, scrolling through the dash displays, outstanding.
Question, the Green looks like the one in Chicago, a Prestige, the Blus however has the 20” wheels so it is not the Prestige pkg. Did it seat 5 or 7? Thanks
It was 7 seater -- BUT I was told it was not a standard config for Canada, and that trim would come with 5 seats (interior aluminum trip, 20" wheels, standard non quilted leather, half analog half digital dash)

I agree on the sport also. I will probably lease if the terms make sense. One of the posters made me look into it more closely. This way I can get a sport in three years if they go that route or just re-examine what’s new in a few years.

No car is perfect. I don’t need a third row but I want a fully loaded one and that maybe the only way to get the SUV.
The GV80 has a larger engine than the G80 Sport. It seems like a fully optioned GV80 is fairly “sporty” as is. What would you envision them adding for a sport model.

Disclaimer- I have owned a 2015 Genesis and now have a G80 Sport so I am familiar with what they did to differentiate the sport from the standard 3.8.

It's a total luxury SUV and not a sport one per say. Nearly all 'sport' variation's have black chrome, special facia and tail effects along with some different handling and shift points (on the true sport versions and not just interior/exterior ones. Heck, in most you can't get real leather dash/doors in the sport versions (I see you GLE 450).

Putting 22's on a car doesn't make it sport. Small things, but sport none the less. The GV80 to me isn't close to a sport's SUV. Very luxurious though. I like the inside and out better than any of the others (although I personally LOVE the exterior of the F Pace).

Thanks for sharing. I'm intrigued by the red. I have a British racing green right now and don't want another green car. I lean towards the pearl/metallic white. Still bummed we don't get the matte finishes in the US, lol. OH well.... Nice options. I do wish they offered a black out chrome as I don't love chrome.

Thanks for sharing. on phone with Jag/Chase right now to see if I can extend my lease by at least 90 days with what's happening and to see the costs. This way I can drive my car nearly through the Winter and then get a GV80 or another CPO European if I decide to go that route. Life changes will dictate all of this.

Meh, looks like yet another vanilla SUV. And what is up with that hideous 1970s steering wheel? I was hoping for something way more stunning and different than all the other SUVs on the market. Nothing groundbreaking here unfortunately. Sorry, just my opinion. The german SUVs, heck even the stunning new lincolns look better unfortunately.

It looks like a mashup between a ford, mazda, and a Cadillac. At least it has ambient lighting which will hopefully carry over to the sedans.
Steering wheel is a horror I agree. Same one in the new G80.

Is the headrest not adjustable or am I missing something? Looking at those seat adjustment controls on the driver's seat site I don't see one to adjust the headrest up-down or forward-backward

I assume it's a manual headrest. Never heard anyone talk about it's adjustment in the video clips.

Due to safety regulations/systems (at least that is what some speculate), many manufactures are doing away with the ability to adjust the headrest forward and back. That may be the case with the GV80.

Thanks Turtle. I haven't seen that in the other cars/SUV's I'm looking at. I wonder if they are the same way. I wonder why they don't have the vertical controls though. I would think with al the cool tech and stuff it has, that it would have electric vert adjustments.

Just saw new pics of the black interior with white stitching...just beautiful. I can't wait to sit in one and drive the darn thing to see if it's what I want. I miss driving cars, lol.

No idea why they dont offer the matte finishes in the US. Some of the most exclusive cars sold here, offer matte. That would definitely set them apart here in this price bracket.

I think they claimed they would have a shipping issue, but that makes no sense to me. I wanted matt badly.

Count your blessings...matte is a RPITFA to upkeep. Even worse if any damage.
