  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I thought that I would post some pics for you guys to use as a source of reference. I also have 20mm wheel spacers. Please keep in mind that it hasn’t settled yet though. I had GT-S springs on my G80, and I thought that the drop was just a little too aggressive for my taste.

Perfect timing. about to pull the trigger on GT-F and 20mm
What spacers did you get and any rubbing issues at all?

No rubbing issues yet. Hopefully that will continue to be the case once the car settles.

Mine have been settling for about three weeks now, and I haven't had any issues. Stock 19s, no spacers.

Pictures look great! Keep us posted on the rubbing. What spacers are you running?

Did you have to do anything to the studs? or was the 20mm deep enough to cover them?
No, it was deep enough. I don’t know how I missed it, but there is another thread that has the exact same title as this one. Several other people confirmed that they haven’t had any issues with the 20mm spacers as well.

Car looks GREAT!!
Any updates on ride quality?

Perfect. No noticeable difference from stock.

Where did you buy the springs from?

My Ark GT-Fs are on the way. Anyone have installation instructions or tips for an AWD?

Update for anyone looking to lower their G70 with Ark GT-F springs. My G70 is an AWD with the regular, non-adaptive suspension.

Appearance
Looks pretty fantastic with the gap removed!

Driving impressions
Like many have said, it's very similar to stock though there are a couple differences. I have a slow right hand merge close to my house that I go over everyday. There is a defect that runs across the road and has always caused my rear suspension to get a bit upset. With the Ark springs, that is gone. The second thing I've noticed is less body roll in corners. The comfort is still there but the car has a lower center of gravity now and feels a bit sharper.

Advertised drop (AWD)
1.1 front, 1.0 rear

Rocker panel to ground (extra drop)
Front 1 inch
Rear 1/2 inch

I drive 6 months in a winter climate, so ground/snow clearance is important. Based on the measurements, things should be just fine.

Installation
I had a shop do the install, which took a bit less then 4 hours and $300. No squeaks, groans or other noises.

Alignment
I will be measuring camber and toe myself to see if it's out much but based on what others have said, it may not require any adjustments.

Stock sway bars? Are you planning to upgrade them as well?
