  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

3.3T Ecu tune

Interesting, thanks. It doesn't leave any trace of having been there if it's replaced?
Mostly no, but if the dealership digs far enough they can find anything. It's just like any other modification, there are risks

I have done ECU tune with my previous Gen Coupe so I am not completely new to this game.
Therefore I am vey much interested with this ECU/TCU swap method without adding other expensive mods such as CAI, CBE etc. while everything else as stocked.
Here are my questions to those who already have the Lozic tune.
1) Should I get the ECU first and see how the car feels?
2) Or should I get both tunes (ECU & TCU) at the same time?
3) What performance gain would I get just for the ECU tune?

@Slip: After flipping and reading a few pages of this thread. It'd be interesting to hear from you since you seem to have one of the most experience in this regard.

The only mod done to my ride is the drop in AEM filters and I am happy with it.

I'm in the same camp. Not interested in a lot of mods since it's my wife's daily driver. The Lozic ECU + TCU arrived this afternoon. Will install tomorrow and report back.

That answer depends on what your looking to get out of the car. Describe that first and I can help answer your question.

Two key things I want to achieve are drivability and a bit more punch coming off the line.

Just installed ECU. Took longer to find the right tools than it did to replace the ECU. Took it for a short ride. A lot more power in comfort mode climbing hills. Very drivable. Sport mode feels similar power. I didn't get to unleash it yet. TCU next.

All you need then is the ECU. It will allow a 7psi launch and lots of go with good driveability.

If you want more later, you can pick up the TCU.

A couple of burned knuckles later TCU is installed. Note to self: let motor cool down more next time :)
Took it for a short ride. Amazing the difference in shift points. Didn't unleash it yet.

Wife just drove it for the first time. Two thumbs up. Her feedback: drives much smoother, louder in comfort mode, don't need to drive in sport mode now - comfort has all the power I need, when in sport mode and merging onto highway "wow.........I wasn't ready for that".
My very early opinion, worth every penny.

@Smooth. How long did it take to receive the shipment? And I suppose you have to order it thru either Instagram or FB and I have neither.
@Slip. I may get the ECU first and go from there.

The tracking number was assigned on Aug 25th in Korea, arrived yesterday, Sep 3rd. So 9 days total.

I used email for ordering.

Just shot an email to Lozic.
For those who already have had their rides ECU or TCU or both tuned with Lozic. Please keep us posted for the progress.

After driving for 2 days now my wife says the car's suspension feels slightly firmer in Comfort mode. Is that possible with an ECU swap? She prefers the feel of the suspension now.

I drove wife's car today. Tried it sport and sport + mode. To me, sport mode has noticeably more power than sport +. Anyone have similar experience?

It could just be me, I'll let my wife test it out. She knows the feel of it.
