I'm in as well. ECU + TCU.
Good to know. I just ordered the TCU, everything else is stock. Just got a tracking number, so should be here next week I would guess.Stock car with TCU only
For those of you who may be interested in just the TCU with an otherwise stock car.. (no JB4/ECU etc..) I installed the TCU pressure 2, all else stock. Went out and did some driving and a few Dragy runs. I only had 20 minutes but here are my initial impressions. The Stock car is making good power and the TCU is holding back the show. Launches are much different from stock and the car gets out of the hole pretty quick. 0-60 in 4.3 on the first try. I'm positive this would be 4 flat with the right launch. The car feels more powerful everywhere. Shifting is more muted with the Stock ECU vs the Lozic ECU but still really good.
Once I drive it more, I'll add to this post.
What specs?Good to know. I just ordered the TCU, everything else is stock. Just got a tracking number, so should be here next week I would guess.
-8, Pressure of 2What specs?
Thanks, yeah I've seen the video. Mostly wonder though about longevity of the turbos/motor with the added boost, I was at 1.3bar and that was on 93 and after opening exhaust and intakes on my Q60. My tuner was on the conservative side though, perhaps 1.5 bar is okay on this platform?I've been running Lozic since last winter. Jan/Feb I think. I have not done any oil analysis.
You really need to run good plugs, which basically means HKS.
Torque is huge and I'm stock.
I've talked to the owner of this car in Korea several times. He's running 91 octane and 1.5Bar tune with a stock car. As you can see, the car moves. He's had no issues. You can see the power numbers in the video.

If you dont mind me asking, what do you mean by intake "elbows" removed? Any pics or post where you detail this? Thanks again!
I was running between 20-23/4 PSI on my Q60 for a couple of years with JB4 on VR30TT. This engine has obviously 10% more displacement which gives it more range in my opinion. It’s a more torquey engine in my opinion. I’ve been using it since Feb/ March and added TCU in May / JUN with BMS CAIs and recently added Jun cat back racing exhaust. Just had my first service which was fine. My biggest issue is rotors. Replaced them under warranty and put my own pads in as Genesis Canada wouldn’t swap to Euro spec pads and now I’m seeing same issue again with the rotors and can see myself replacing front rotors myself some time soon. Thanks, yeah I've seen the video. How easy was that slip? There is one of these on each side. Removing them drops intake restriction from 9 to 4 inches of vacuum.

Couldn't agree more, the G70 in stock form drives so much better than my Q60 ever has. Indeed mode refined, changes between comfort and sport mode are very noticeable (not the case with the Q60), I'm surprised how smart the transmission tuning on Sport and Sport+ are, on the Q60 I always had to be in manual control of the gears cuz it would never be in the right one, not to mention those 3 second waits that I had sometimes when downshifting.as for driving experience it’s night and day different. Quieter more refined that Q60 and better gearbox especially once you enable it more with TCU
Are there any good 2 piece rotors available for this platform (like we had the Z1 ones)? My biggest issue is rotors. I hadn't looked at rotors as from what I read it was the pads but it seems its the rotors or I bought OEM pads that did the same as Genesis pads. As for ECU yes took it out before going to dealer. Its such a big difference in drive you can't leave it in as they will know as soon as they test drive it. Also if they inspect it they will see Lozic logo. Also if its like mine they have painted screws and nuts where they both are mounted. Are there any good 2 piece rotors available for this platform (like we had the Z1 ones)?
Also, did you swap out to the stock ECUs before taking to the dealer?
TCU takes 5 mins and ECU about same once you have done it a few times... disconnect battery first as a precaution but someone has done it with it connected. TCU is visible in the drivers side engine bay and ECU is under vanity plate by brake fluid reservoir. All you need is a magnetic 10mm socket and 13 mm for battery. I say magnetic for the one nut on the ECU so you don't drop it - the other 2 are bolts. So you guys are just swapping out the whole ECU for this tune? Same for TCU? Where are they located, how hard to do?
