  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Ark GT-F springs installed

That chrome looks great on your white

Wonder how it would look on a dark g70....

Does anyone know how the spring rate of the Ark springs compares to stock?

Also, if it lowers the car more at one end vs the other, do you need to get your headlights re-aligned?
After switching between the G70 and my other, sportier, cars, it does feel a bit floaty. This has me thinking about stiffer springs, like the ARK. I'd like it to be a bit more firm and planted without being too harsh.

That's exactly what you'll get with these springs. Feels stock but planted with crisper handling. Also, my headlights are still good and I didn't need an alignment. Everything seems good!

Just curious, but does anyone else hit the bump stops going over large humps on the highway? I have a feeling it's because I'm AWD, since I haven't come across anyone else who has had that issue with these springs.

I'm AWD and haven't noticed that...

I honestly have no faith in the guys who installed them, even though they came highly recommended and charged accordingly, so I probably need to get everything checked out again.

Just the bump stop issue or more than that?

Well, they underquoted the job and called me an hour before pickup saying that they needed it for a few days. I asked why, and they said they needed to remove the rear subframe to get to the rear sway bar (which was also being replaced), and also they needed to remove the front fenders to pivot the springs out. I've never read about anyone having to do either of these things. Then, they tried to charge me $400 extra when I picked my car up without discussing an increase in price on the phone. It was just all very amateur.

WTF?? Yeah, they really had no idea what they were doing. My install cost $300 and was complete in 4 hrs.

I agree, get it checked. Damn

Yeah, I'm just finding it hard to spend money on it since I decided to trade it in for a GV60 when it comes out next year, lol

Oh man... I'm so tempted as well.... EV6GT too... Can't wait to see some in the forum!

It took a lot to drag me away from ICE, but the instant torque from electric motors is just intoxicating. Ever since I drove my coworker's model 3 performance, I was sold (on electrics, at least. Not a Tesla fan, haha). The EV6GT is tempting, too, especially since it'll get more power, but I think I'll miss the luxury that comes with the G70.

Sorry for going off topic, haha.

I needed to adjust my headlights, but not sure if related to spring I stall. Either way very easy adjustment. Long Phillips in hole @ + or - mark.

Thanks, that's good to know. I need to decide if I'm going to keep the car for at least a few more years, to make it worth while. I really do love it, other than the seat, but the cushion I bought seems to have mostly addressed that.

Looking good!

I have to ask about your window trim, were you having issues, or did you decide to black it out for a cleaner look?

Sorry for the off topic response, but I was looking for any advice on the Kunstwerk Exhaust and I didn’t know how to direct message you. Would you recommend the exhaust? I was looking for something that doesn’t completely invalidate the warranty. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
