  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

🤣per salesman.. he said if i stood firm and refused the add ons they would have let me walk away! hard to believe but then again hes a car salesman! he said people buy the GV 70s at sticker PLUS add ons so basically saying a normal sport prestige 3.5 at 64,045 would now cost around 67,345.. good luck! fyi... i wrote a lengthy review on yelp.
I just looked at the GV70 vehicles listed for sale on the South Bay website. Interesting observation. Most GV70 cars that arrived at dealerships recently have VIN numbers ending in 50xxx or 51xxx meaning a build date of 10/21 or 11/21. Some of the vehicles on South Bay have VIN numbers ending 11xxx or 22xxx meaning a build date around 5/21 or 6/21. Maybe because they were selling them 3-4k over sticker and putting add ons like lo jack, etc. they were not exactly flying off the lot and they let a lot of potential buyers walk away. Perhaps, because they are now pricing them more realistically like your vehicle, they are actually selling vehicles. Would you mind sharing your last five numbers of VIN with xxx for last three numbers and build date on driver side pillar?

Makes you wonder how South Bay could still have and be selling a new GV70 which has a VIN ending in 11xxx? Methinks, they were asking too much over MSRP originally and potential buyers went to other dealerships!
By the way, good luck with your Savile Silver. It looks beautiful in the photo.

Atlantic is notorious from playing games. I went shopping and initially went there, and the

Including myself, first their sales person was horrible and I walked out without test driving. Didn't even make it to numbers with him, then I gave them a second chance when the General Manager called me. I then started talking to them about numbers after I test drove at Huntington (Huntington wanted 3k over sticker, the car had 141 miles on it). South Shore was low balling about 5k on my trade. I said, thanks but no thanks. Went across the sound to Genesis of Fairfield and had an excellent experience with them. It was worth the 140 dollar ferry ride. I sure hope South shore's service is better than their sales.

I see you’re in Florida.…if you don’t mind me asking but where did you buy? Anywhere near Naples? Not that I expect to get your deal. Just curious.
I am in naples where are you ? I am in bent creek -951 and Immokkolee road gv70 navy blue

Paid a lot. Guess I’m a typical impatient American and wanted a specific color/package combo. Shipped from CA to TX.

Genesis Round Rock (Austin) sold me their only GV70 3.5 Advanced on the lot (Adriatic Blue) for MSRP. They "suggested" adding in ceramic and some other addons when I was given the deal sheet but when I said "no thanks" they were removed without a second word. Eli Theard was my salesman and he was superb. This is a Penske Auto Group Hyundai/Genesis dealership and they are building their standalone Genesis store that should be finished this year.

I would suggesting contacting a few of them and asking the question directly. Don't be afraid to add one or two dealers outside of the Houston area if the prices come back higher than list. Of course, please post results to help others....
Genesis of West Houston asked 20% markup over MSRP. That was around 10K for 2.5T advanced package.
Dealership proudly said every single car on their lot has markup.

I bought mine from Genesis of Spring for $3k over MSRP last month. That was going to be my max, but can't believe West Houston is at $10k. Crazy. The market will reset and we'll remember who was gouging the most during this time.

I also paid 3k over. I was in a car accident that totaled my previous car, and my month of car rental coverage was out, so I was willing to pay a bit more on the deal. On the upside, my 2020 A3 prestige s-line was estimated at 43895, (new car replacement, hade 19985mi) and I owed 13000 flat. So I was able to toss down a might chunk and got a baller interest rate. 2.5T max package Adriatic blue with obsidian interior. Only complaint, the lexicon system bangs half as hard as the Bang and Olufsen in the Audi... gonna get a sun put in prob in the spring.

Edit: This was Jan 3rd in Massachusetts framing hyundai dealer. Coming from an audi dealer, that place was freaking disgusting, only going to use the drop off/pick up service from now on. Dealers were greasy with high pressure tactics. Herb Conolly was name

FYI, Vroom has a 3.5 Sport Prestige with ~7400 miles for $60k + delivery fee.
Personally I wouldn't risk buying from Vroom, but it does appear to be underpriced compared to what I've seen other dealers charging.

Vroom and Carvana have free Carfax for any of their vehicle listings. But it's already pending sale now anyway.

Tusc, can you share the name your sales rep? Thx.

Agreed. They were the first place I scheduled a test drive (back in Nov). Got there 5 mins late because I had to bring my toddler along...7:05pm. Said they wouldn't honor the appointment and 'that it shouldn't have been booked in the first place.' Wasted 1.5 hrs of my life. Sketchy looking sales people with no professionalism. Bought it at Arlington instead. More professional there.

Bought our GV70 at Lakeland Genesis in Florida on January 13. Paid $123.24 over MSRP, plus a $998.00 Pre-Delivery Charge (which was later essentially cut by $500.00 via their increase in trade-in value) which covered tinted windows, door handle guards, door guards, paint and clearcoat protection, nitrogen tires and a warranty on paint and interior (which probably was redundant with factory warranty). We initially declined that Pre-Delivery Charge but were told the items had been installed. It was a Savile Silver exterior with black interior and the Advanced and Select Package which was on the lot and was what we wanted and were willing to drive 200 miles to get, so we bought it and drove it home. Pleased with our salesman, Tom Wolfe.

Ordered 2.5t September just came in today, paid window sticker, but the price went up $500 since September order date
