  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Front mud flaps

Shot in the dark, but has anyone tried the 2022 front mud guards (or anything else for that matter) on the first gen G70? Have a 2019 3.3t and would love some type of OEM looking/fitting solution.

Yes, I installed them over the weekend. Kind of small compared to the rear mud guards but they should protect somewhat. 1.webp3.webp4.webp5.webp

^ cool thanks. i see the part #'s are different from '21 to '22 for the rear mud guards. nothing ever showed up for '19-'21 front guards. maybe the material change was minor enough not to matter.

Not sure why the rear mud guards would have different part numbers...

^ i hear you. dunno. perhaps slightly different fitment? i didn't think the bodies had changed though.

here's what they show for '22 part #'s:

and for '19-'21 (no front flaps like we know, but it seems the '22 flaps fit '19-'21):

maybe the rear set # change from AK100 to ACF00 is nothing material. without knowing about body style fitment changes i can't say. bottom line is that according to F1-Fan above he says the front '22 flaps fit no problem which is cool.

I called my local Canadian Genesis dealer and I was told the part G9F46-ACA00 for front guards is discontinued. He suggested that G9F46-ACA10 exists as a replacement for 90$. I wonder what was changed with new part number.

I just rcvd my G9F46 ACA00 from Garvey Hyundai, apparently through genesispartsandaccessories,,,I think. The weather is shit up here in MN so I have tried to install them on my 2019 Sport 3.3T. I'll update to confirm, or hopefully not, deny, the fit. Oh, and they do seem kinda small, but assuming they fit, are better than nothing.

Installed on a 2019 G70 3.3T Sport. Perfect fit, albeit little guys. Worth the 45.00 to me, anyway.

^ thx, they are tiny! the look works well with your black car. wonder what they'd look like on the blue (in my case).

Yup, they are kinda small. I figure they are slightly better than nothing. The rear Genesis mud guards are not much bigger. For me it comes down to aesthetics and balance as much as anything. It does look better when it is clean. These look good on all G70 colors, IMHO.

Awesome sauce this answered my question. So these will fit a 2020 G70?

Yup, a little Minnesota slop.

My dealer says Genesis/Hyundai has not made these made these mud guards yet so I am curious where they were purchased? Find this hard to believe as I saw them on a G70 on the lot.....

Thank you F1-fan! Have you watched the Senna movie?
