Been here awhile...
My local Hyundai service manager called me today to follow up with a reoccurring problem with the amber TPMS light illuminating randomly on my 09 V8 base model (which many of you have stated happens to you as well). It's been a electrical Gremlin that the company has been aware of but could not figure out. He told me that they may have found a solution. He stated that according to the Genesis technicians, they think there is interference from the headlight assembly and the TPMS receiver. He stated that the company has approved replacement of the headlight assembly, and to bring the car in. He said he needs the car for 3 days. An afternoon to change the headlight assembly and 2 days to run diagnostics on the car. I'm not really keen on leaving the car there for 3 days, but I'd rather handle this issue then be annoyed every time the stupid light comes on. You guys may want to ask your service managers if they've heard anything about this fix.
