  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis GV70 Reviews

^ I am absolutely amazed how good the 2.5T is…even in my heavy Santa Fe.

It really is fast. I'm surprised that even with the transverse layout and FWD bias, it has the same trap speed as the GV70 using that engine.

Can't wait to see it modified for an N product.

If Genesis slapped on the electrically supercharged mild hybrid system from the G90's TTV6 onto the 4-pot, it may actually be even more powerful than the standard TTV6.

HMG needs to hybridize the 2.5T in some form; the 1.6T hybrid is barely adequate in the SF and Sorento and wouldn't be adequate for the hybrid Carnival and any future hybrid Palisade and Telluride.

Here's Charlie's full review of the Electrified GV70.

Let's share any previews/reviews here (thanks to backslack for sharing this video in the other thread).

Pleasantly surprised at how roomy the back seat is. Strongly leaning towards getting this for the wife next year based on the info so far, just need the price for the 2.5T.
I got my GV70 in September and already have replaced the transfer case and the actuator's for the a/c on the drivers and passenger side. Can't get rid of this car quick enough!!!

Here's their review of the GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige.

I don't think there's any other purpose for a review than to help a would be buyer... either in getting into to the weeds on just the one car or comparing it to other similar cars but this review is just silly how short and unhelpful it is. He really liked the but it's like a bubble gum wrapper cartoon version of a review.

Grass Roots Motorsports is aimed at light weight cars for auto crossing, so the fact that they even gave the GV70 print time, even if it’s truncated says something about the car.

New review of GV70 from Give It The Beans:)
