It is my understanding that the TPMS units located at the air valve location of each wheel do not need any resetting after tire changes (as long as the units were not damaged in tire changing). My understanding is that they reset themselves after a few minutes of driving.
IS THIS SO? (Also never had to reset them when rotating tires).
Many tire dealers say that the TPMS needs to be reset using their special tool, when changing tires, but I always tell them that the TPMS on the Genesis does not work that way.
I could be wrong. What say you?
