  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

New Official 1/4 Mile Thread

I think you're asking for altitude and it should have been pretty close to sea level. Mid texas.
DA is more important than Altitude.

Also, what was your 60ft? 1/10th faster 60ft is worth 2/10ths faster 1/4 mile time. So if you ran a 12.7 with a 2.2 60ft, that same run with a 1.9 60ft could go 12.1

Finally posted the video.

Talk about stealing Falcons thunder... lol

Man are you moving. I remember a few years ago when we thought our transmissions would grenade with much less power.

Pretty impressive!

Hey guys, a related question: Does anybody know what's the 'real life' 0-60 times of both the 3.3T and 2.0T RWD fully stock, meaning just stomping on the throttle while on 'auto hold'? No brake-torque abuse. Curious, because my 2.0T feels like a dog taking off, like it has a super tall 1st gear. The 3.3T SP I briefly owned didn't feel any better, but obviously didn't do WOT runs, since I returned it with 90 miles on the clock (engine issues).

My stock 3.3T AWD feels plenty zippy off the line. It's way faster than my old M3.

I'll turn off my JB4 tomorrow and do a quick pull on my way to work and see what I get.

My 3.3 can usually hit low 4s just going off with no launch. granted im running map 2 JB4 with intakes. RWD with older tires really doesn't like to hook, when it has new ones though, def 4 flat. When it hooks its a rocket

Sorry i just re read what you said, fully stock it probably ran high 4s.

Thank you very much for that info. That's pretty much what it feels to me, so I guess my car is normal. Numbers on the internet are all over the place, from low 6s to 6.85 sec for RWDs, hence asking real owners, and how I drive it. Plus most magazines use brake-torquing, and/or deduct 1' rollout, which is cheating. My '22 SF 2.5T/DCT8 feels quicker, but probably has similar performance. It feels a lot quicker off the line, and can easily light up the 255 front tires even at moderate throttle, so that's why I think it has similar 0-60 time than the 6.2 from the AWD model.

It's been awhile since I've updated boards. I've read through the submissions since my activity fell off in May/June. If I missed something or have an error on your run or mods, please send me a PM or reply to this message. Also, thought about combining the 0-60, adding 60-130, and half mile. Maybe more data compiled in one spot helps the community, or maybe it makes it more convoluted. There's a lot of ways to measure a vehicle. Not sure what I'll do but, open to your thoughts on it. Sometimes messaging me on IG @red_devil_g70 is faster to reach me. I have notifications set for this forum, but don't always see them. Thanks for your patience.

Was only able to get to the track once this year and wasn't quite sure if I'd make it back home at first, but it was a successful night. Good times with friends and a new PB.
