interior light problem

I bought my hyundai genesis coupe about two months ago and i recall the interior lights coming on when i pushed the button to turn off the car. but recently ive noticed that they dont turn on anymore. they work fine if i turn them on manually. is there any way to have it back to the old setting ??

I think the door button on the ceiling enables this as well as enables lighting when the doors open.
