  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What have you done to your GV60 today?

Looking to make your GV60 unique? Look no further than KDM Warehouse - where orders are shipped immediately!
Were they from the dealer? Mind sharing a pic? Ours car is dark as well and pretty much ridiculous to keep clean in the winter.
Yes, the dealer installed them. I see someone else down the thread posted pics.

Today I picked up my Alta white GV60 from getting full Xpel Stealth (matte) PPF, chrome delete (including the EKG zig-zag), blacked out lower valences, window tint, and blacked-out rear Genesis badge (deleted the GV60 badge). Really happy with the results! Olympic Tint in Koreatown Los Angeles. Tell Jonathan that Nick sent you!

Wow how much did this cost and how long did the entire process take, if you don't mind me asking?

I charged mine to 100% and promptly began driving the stink out of it! LOVE this EV!

Finally got around to installing the front and rear mud guards. Super easy instructions via a QR code/web link. Took about 5-10 mins each. All installation parts included. While they are smaller than I had envisioned, I think they will work pretty well given the tire width/angle.

Anyone having trouble finding any nice accessories? I feel like market is dead. Cant find real carbon trim pieces or wing at all. I have decided to make them custom locally. Hell I can;t even find a carbon front emblem.

Absolutely the selection sucks. I wish they would hurry up with the tow hitch, rumor has it pegged for deployment this summer. Looks like Stealth Hitch has an option available for shipping imminently , design looks cool. Nonetheless I would prefer an OEM solution that integrates with tow mode and stock wiring without cutting into the harness. I have bikes, trailers that need hauling, lets get crackalackin Genesis :)

Got board this weekend and decided to add:

+ some additional information for the rear seat passengers (temp and time).
+ collapsible trash can
+ analog clock front
+ door sill LED panels.
Trying them out for awhile and all are easily removable 😁

You use invisible mats? can i know where did you get them from?

We don’t get all that much snow/mud around here, and I wanted to keep the Genesis Ash colored carpeted mats clean through winter without having to purchase black high-edge mats so opted instead for the clear units (custom cut for front and back- 3 pieces) from Exactmade Mats US. They fit perfectly and were $99 for front/back sets with about a 2 week turnaround from order to receiving them. So far, so good :)

So classy and simply the best choice for the ASH interior. Just placed my order. thanks

I called Genesis Support to report that since the Genesis Mobile app received that update about a month ago, my charging time when plugged in to my Level 2 charger says I have 32 hours until limit reached despite the dash saying like 3 hours. The rep wanted me to reboot this infotainment despite it not being an infotainment system issue, it's a mobile app issue. Prior to the pushed out app update, it was accurate. Something in that app update is a bug, almost like that time is for the Level 1 charger, not the Level 2 but it does display that I am on a 240V connection. #buggysoftware

I called Genesis about it couple of months ago. Silence... "our engineers are working on it"

Yep, my rep had no idea and didn't even open a case for it!

They do work. I have them

It looks like we've finally moved away from winter here, so this weekend I put the summer tires back on and did a full exterior detail on the car. It's been a long time since she's been clean.
Later in the day, my son and I got in the car, and his first comment was how much better the OE rims looked vs. my winters - and how big they were.
I also tried a new 'ceramic' polish afterward. It was a fairly cheap Turtle Wax product, but was tested vs. other simple DIY applications and fared very well. We'll see how it goes.

Any pictures before and after the detail? I have a one year wait ahead of me for the GV60.

Inspired!!
After all the rains we've had here in N. California, it too looks like it's over... as far out as the forecasters and models can predict, anyway. Even long-range models show drier than normal for quite some time.

So... inspired by your post, I went out with warm soapy water, a boatload of microfiber towels, and detailed it. It actually looks better than new (they did a pretty crappy job on delivery).

If you don't mind... what exact Turtle Wax product did you wind up using? What I used did well, but could probably be improved upon next time.

I didn't take any before photos, but I did the same thing as @Looney100 using the same product. (I let him find the best car care tricks and then just copy him.) The car is so shiny!

That looks really good. I have a Savile Silver GV80 and have always felt that the color suits the GV70 the best. But I'm really impressed by how good it looks on your GV60!!

Edit: If you put some tire shine on your tires the results would look perfect!

This work for you? Lol. I didn't even think about the tires in the moment.
