plug it into a laptop. If they won’t, bring your own laptop. That is my first guess about it.

Hi, I could not find the TSB online. Do you have a link to it that you can share?I think they just didnt know how to do it. I read the TSB and it states to leave the USB in plugged in for 2-4 minutes and wait for the head unit to restart. I think they plugged it in, it showed "no files" and they kept removing it not just leaving it plugged in for couple minutes. As a mastertech for KIA myself, I would have figured that out long time ago. If only I can get my hands on that USB somehow and just do it myself without those useless techs.
No link. Just ask your Genesis service manager and give them the TSB number. There is nothing you can download. They need to get and install what's on the usb stick. They might share with you the TSB documentation.Hi, I could not find the TSB online. Do you have a link to it that you can share?
I called the Service and they wanted me to bring the car for diagnosis ($200). They had no idea what I was talking about. No link. Just ask your Genesis service manager and give them the TSB number. What are your symptoms and when did it start?I called the Service and they wanted me to bring the car for diagnosis ($200). They had no idea what I was talking about.
Hence I asked.
I bought my G90 in June. I did the May update the first thing, and I think it broke the modem. It is able send data (like odometer, vehicle health) but not receiving any data (remote actions). What are your symptoms and when did it start?
This TSB sounds like it is for you. The $200 diagnostic is baloney. Talk to connected services. Is your subscription still active? If not you may need to pay to start it up.I bought my G90 in June. What year is your G90?

This is great! Thank you so muchUPDATE. So here is the deal. I went to a local dealer last week and told them to perform TSB 23-BE-012G Software Update. They had no idea what that was and basically performed a regular navigation update that you download online and called it a day. I said whatever and I left, connected services still not working. Today i tried a different local dealer. Told them about TSB 23-BE-012G Software Update and they knew exactly what I was talking about. They told me since I'm out of warranty it will be 1 hour of labor so here its $185. I agreed. And guess what. My connected services are back up and running! I can finally remotely start the vehicle and the app updates, plus its finally showing good signal on the radio as it should not the red circle showing no signal. There are dealers out there that have no idea what or how to do this update, guess it depends. I went in, told them Genisis connected services told me to perform TSB 23-BE-012G Software Update and that's what they did, and I finally have connected services working, haven't worked since January. I wish everyone else good luck and that TSB seems to help a lot of people getting it to work. I've attached a picture of the TSB that the dealership printed out for me. @captain74 View attachment 55578

I had the same issue with one of my local dealers. When you plug in the USB it says there are no files on it, that doesn't matter. It's a reset, it doesn't have any files on it, you need to leave it plugged in for a couple minutes to do its thing. First dealer told me the same thing, that it kept failing. Went to another which already had performed that TSB on other g90s and voula, fixed. Mind blowing how they don't even read the TSB at some dealers; it clearly states on there to just leave it plugged in for a couple minutes.Just got my Connected services fixed. I had to take the screenshot to the dealer, otherwise they wouldn't listen to me or understand what i am saying.
One important note. They said install failed after several tries and apologized that it's not gonna work. I asked them to copy the fix onto my USB. I left, inserted the USB and in a few minutes, system restarted and modem started working. The key thing is that when you insert USB, nothing comes on the screen. Just insert and wait for a few minutes. It restarts and starts working.
Wanted to share for future cases.

LTE should not go anywhere anytime soon.now that this has been fixed, how long do you think the connected services will last. I had an older car sunset with onstar 2G and now wondering how long the genesis connected services will last if i buy the 2018 G90 im looking at
