  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Thank you! Looks high in the rear but that’s just the pic. Didn’t get any settling, i still don’t believe in the concept of springs settling especially if the shop does the install right lol

Pretty sure i talked to you on the facebook group too. You’re not the one with the Vertini 20’s are you?
I do have vertini 20s. We did talk via the messages here, but not sure I remember the FB group though... not big on social media. Lol

My springs did settle a little. Took about 100 miles and I measured less than 1/4" difference from initial install. Shop did mine.

Reviving this thread lol. New setup for me. ESR RF2 in 19x8.5 +30 with7mm spacer and 19x9.5 +35.

Tires are the best part. Lots of people get these flashy wheels then completely forget that tire size matters.

Tire sizes? It looks nice.

Any recommendations for a good quality flow-formed 19" wheel to replace my stock "Dark Sputtering" Sport wheels? I'd like to stick to the stock tire size (225/40R19 & 255/35R19), and given the tires already look a bit stretched likely the same stock widths as well.

My car is Savile Silver, and I'd like something that looks less racey and a little more classy. Maybe gunmetal, a darker bronze, or a machined face? I really like the look of the factory 10-spoke, but I hear they are super heavy.

I have a set of Konigs on another car and love the quality/price proposition. Anyone who has Konigs on their G70, particularly a facelift?

Had Wedsports on our Infiniti G, loved them, high quality, lightweight and not crazy expensive. Not all styles available in a 19" though. Worth a look for sure!

The stock wheels are super heavy. We took ours off even before we left the dealer lot. Sold them a week later.

Shopping for wheels, I always go to TireRack.com, put in the make/model, and sort the wheels by weight. You can even change the onscreen G70's color to match yours. Koenig does make some good wheels, but not everything under their brand is top quality. That goes for other brands like MSW, BBS, etc.

Check out Fitment Industries, they have decent gallery with g70's with different wheel configs, and a decent wheel selection

i'm reviving this thread because i like it. 19x8.5 +22 19x9.5 +35 on Yellow Speed coilovers with 245/40/19 and 275/35/19. honestly, rubs the inside of the fender liner on bumps. not for everyone.

I've seen this pic in another post somewhere (LOOKS FANTASTIC) but that was my first thought - not much travel on those wheel wells!

I also recently stumbled on YSR as an option and wondered if they were any good. Other than the rub, obviously not the coil's fault, how do you like them? Recommend?

they are great, but really not the best-made option. there are a few things i noticed while installing them that are a bit weird (like the fact that the rear spring seems to be almost too large for the shock collar that it sits on).

they ride great. to clarify, only the front tire rubs and that's because a 40 sidewall is nuts. plenty of travel left in the rear though.

So w/ a stretched 225/40 & 255/35 on those exact wheels should work ok without rubbing in front?? Looks like a nice setup, what are your camber specs??

those widths and tire sizes will fit, those sizes are a bit thin for 8.5 and 9.5 though. 245 and 265 would be ideal if you can do it.

as for the front, unfortunately not sure if it would fit with no rubbing. maybe the thinner tire would mean the sidewalls stand up less straight than mine do, therefore avoiding the point on the outside of the tire that hits my inner fender liner. but i don't know.

I also have Saville silver and I think these wheels would look fantastic. It's a very similar color.
Only thing I am not sure about is their weight and/or if they are rotary/flow-formed.
On the Corvette forum a vendor claimed they were and claimed light weights.
However, their website doesn't specify and I've seen other vendors list them as pretty heavy
But they do look great!!

Here's where a vendor on CF claimed they were 24lbs F and 26 lbs R for a C8: (I'm not so sure about this).

That is a nice looking wheel! It's funny, another vendor also lists them as flow formed but the AG website has a different category for those wheels ("spun forged"/"ART technology"). The other issue is that they look like they will be a pain to clean. If I were to go with AG, maybe the 580R?

Don't have wheels yet being that I just picked up the car on Monday (4/15) but I do have a little photo chop I did a few years back. These are
BC Forged; HCS04S
Still debating on the color combination but without further ado..

Bringing this thread back from the dead. Rear suspension looks saggy cause i had 400 pounds of stuff in it. Should I do these in silver?

Light on Dark and Dark on Light, brother! I'd 'shop it first, but would no doubt look awesome either way.
