Genesis Free NACS Adapter Thread: Post Your Updates

The confirmation of “correct address” came from: shp.csharmony.epsilon.com Most likely the fulfillment house and probably the ones who biffed this campaign and possibly because Hyundai sent them garbage information to begin with or they’re just a cheap outfit and inept. Ultimately that maters not as GMA handled the response to this so blindly bad. They ultimately should get the blame, but they will NEVER admit it.
 
I got the emai yesterday and confirmed everything this morning. Bought mine in June 2023.

I have not received the email or a mailer. I have called numerous times, have tickets open, and have been assured that my request has been escalated. On the 3rd, I was told that it would be 7-10 days. On the 12th, I was told that is 7-10 business days. So, I guess I am not calling again until the 17th.

Still waiting for our email, I called CS on May 30th, received a case number, the CS person I spoke to was courteous and said all of our contact/mailing information was correct. I contacted CS again yesterday (June 13th), she verified my case #, verified mailing address and contact info, verified that nothing had been mailed or emailed to us, and said that we "should" receive our email verification in the coming week, and updated our case # with the conversation. She was courteous, aware of the NACS adapter issue, I'm not optimistic we'll receive the email in the coming week, we shall see. Note, we have a '24 GV70EV, leased it in May'24.

We are on the same timeline. Calling back on the 17th. Sorry that you are still in the same boat as I am.

How long did you have to wait until the second email? I confirmed as soon as I got the first one but haven't heard anything else :/

Edit: Spoke too soon, just got the second email "ORDER PROCESSED: FULFILLMENT IS UNDERWAY {{name}}"

Update: received an email from Genesis customer service in response to my case number. Today was the last day in the 7-10 business days they responded with initially. They are claiming my redemption email will arrive by June 30th.

Of course this remains to be seen.

Will update with any additional info. The critical thing here I think was getting a case number from Genesis Customer Service.

If I recall correctly, it was a link not an email. So once you click on the “Yes my information is correct” from the initial email, it takes you to a web page that basically says, “ you will be notified with tracking information when we process the order” or such. That was the web address I listed: noreply-myvehicle@mc.genesismotorsamerica.com
Some of my friends with Ioniq 5’s and 1 GV60 never received the shipping/tracking email, but the adapter just showed up on their door step. One did get the tracking info.

A group of 3rd graders could have run this clown car campaign better than Hyundai did by farming this out to some 3rd party company! To prove my point, my so called Executive Escalation Specialist sent an email today saying they are still working on getting me the email!!!! The right hand doesn’t even know what the left is doing.

If it wasn’t so annoying, it would be a great comedy sketch!

Received the mailer, but still no email.
 
Decided to call them tonight. Person I spoke to had me go to genesishomemarketplace . com and register there. Did so while he was still on the phone, and got the message "Sorry, your coupon is still being processed". He couldn't tell me what this meant so he gave me the phone number for that division. Called and got phone menu system that told me to go to website to register :-(. Called Client Care back and got a different person who told me my case is already escalated but she has no updates, so I need to wait 5-7 business days :-(

Sheez, talk about completely inept for a luxury brand.
I tried this and it also said "Sorry, your coupon is still being processed." I haven't received e-mail nor mailer, so I sent an e-mail on owners.genesis.com and got a case number via e-mail.

Yes neither for me. I called regular customer service on Thursday about my 2+ week old case with them and was told by COB Friday I would get an email. I will call again today but I expect another BS answer… I have an executive resolutions specialist I'm working with on another issue check on this weeks ago, they don't appear to be able to get anything done either.

Last year’s AA/CP update was done the same way for me, but yet I never got the adapter email. SMH
 
We called today after not receiving anything from Genesis.

The email account associated with the car isn’t ours, which is exceedingly odd given that we are the original/only owners.

Since we weren’t able to identify the correct/associated email address, we now have to submit 3 forms of proof of ownership, including the bill of sale, which is at our winter residence in CA, 2000 miles away.

It’s OBVIOUS that they’re trying to limit their exposure, and while understandable in some ways, the hoops are almost not worth jumping through for us…

We have a case number, and just today submitted the requested proofs of ownership. We'll see what happens, but not holding my breath...

Update: we had to provide YET ANOTHER proof of ownership document, but they finally confirmed that yes, we do indeed own the vehicle that's in our garage - yay.

To reiterate, the e-mail address that was previously associated with the car was not ours, and they wouldn't tell us what that e-mail was, which led to the request for proof of ownership.

Hilarious, but not really...

This is the text of the e-mail they sent when I inquired specifically about the complimentary NACS adapter:

Thank you for reaching out to Genesis Customer Care regarding the NACS charger adapter. Now that you've enrolled into Genesis Connected services, you should be receiving a redemption email with the subject line "A Gift 4U" requesting you to verify the shipping address. We recommend that you check you email's inbox and junk/spam folders. You should receive that email by June 30th, 2025.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact us at the phone number listed below and reference case number xxxxxx"
