  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Free NACS Adapter Thread: Post Your Updates

I got 2 different dates after corresponding with them 2x. One said 6/20/25 and one said 6/30/25.

"Thank you for contacting Genesis Customer Care in regard to the complimentary NACS adapter redemption.

At this time, your redemption email is still in the process of being sent. We ask that you go to your MyGenesis account and ensure you are opted in for Email Communication by June 20, 2025 at 5pm PST. Without this preference selected, you will not get the email. Please keep an eye out for an email sent to the address linked to your MyGenesis account with the subject line: “A Gift from Genesis: DC FAST CHARGING ADAPTER.” We sincerely appreciate your patience as we work to distribute these communications.

If you are unsure how to update your preferences in MyGenesis, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Once you log in to your MyGenesis account, click "My Account" from the top menu options.
Step 2: Click the "My Preferences" tab.
Step 3: Under the "Communication Preferences" section, click on "Edit" to update varying levels of communication preferences. Please make sure "Email" is selected and "Unsubscribe from All Communications" is unchecked.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact us at the phone number listed below and reference case number XXXXXXXX.

Thank you for being a valued member of our Genesis family.

Respectfully,

Genesis Customer Care"

I then e-mailed to have them confirm that my settings were already correct and they said this:

"Thank you for contacting Genesis Customer Care in regard to the complimentary NACS adapter redemption.

We have reviewed your account and determined that you have opted in for email communications. At this time, your redemption email is still in the process of being sent.

We’re happy to share that all eligible Genesis owners who did not receive their redemption email by May 31st will be receiving it by end of June 30th. Rest assured, our team is diligently working to ensure all remaining emails are sent out as quickly as possible.
We kindly ask for your continued patience, and we’re confident this final batch of communications will provide the information you need to complete your redemption process.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact us at the phone number listed below and reference case number XXXXXXXX.

Thank you for being a valued member of our Genesis family.

To add a data point, I was told I'd receive the email by 6/30/25 - but they did not instruct me to confirm I had selected email communication preferences like they instructed you by 6/20.

Meanwhile - I actually tried to use my Ford adapter over the weekend but got charger blocked by a bunch of other non Tesla vehicles that had to take up two spots. Ended up driving to an EA charger where I got 184 kWh peak (I came in at 40% charge) and paid $0 with my 3 year plan.

For me it has never been about the "free adapter" but rather the principle. As others have noted, Genesis has botched a lot of campaigns in their young life and this one wasn't that complicated. Relative to other OEMs that are handing out free adapters, they likely had the fewest qualified vehicles and it just doesn't speak highly of the organization within the company.

Also nada.
My story has been much like all of you. I have been completely in tune with the requirements and verified everything in late February before the first campaign got pushed back to end on May 30th. I have called GCS TWICE while the campaign was live to request updated status. During those calls in April and mid may I was told that I was eligible, I was opted in properly and I should wait, the email is coming soon. At the end of May I got nervous. Here are the calls since:
May 30th - everything is correct, your VIN qualifies, you will get the email tonight, If not call tomorrow. Here is you case number.
May 31st - everything is correct, your VIN qualifies, sorry you did not get the email, I will add a note to your case number. You will get a reply in 7-10 days.
June 3rd - everything is correct, your VIN qualifies, I will add a note to your case number. I will escalate. You will get a reply in 7-10 days.
June 7th - everything is correct, your VIN qualifies, I will add a note to your case number. It hasn't been 7 days. (Me-depends on the date you claim the start and What is the 7-10 days for? GCS has confirmed everything already. Do you need to confirm an 5th time??) I asked to speak to the call center supervisor. I expressed my displeasure in the communication and execution of this roll out.
June 11 - Called again same response with nothing definitive. It's been 13 days since the case was opened but the polite CSR said the start date was 6/3. SMH. Well Today is day 9 and still no email.
June 18 - I called again because I still haven't received an email or the mailer some of you are talking about. I am now 20 days in from opening my case number and 16 day from when GMA wants to claim is the start date of my 7-10 day window so, big fail. My CSR told me that the campaign has been extended to June 30th and that I would receive the email by then. I asked, "What happened to the 7-10 window"? The response was, "I assure you that you will receive your email by June 30th.
Well, GMA has "assured" me on May 30th that I would receive an email by EOB.
GMA has "assured" me that I would receive and email in 7-10 days from June 3rd.
Now GMA "assured" me that I will receive an email by June 30th.
I don't feel very "assured".

I just got my email also! I thought for sure I’d be the very last one!

The number of people who haven't been picked yet is dwindling fast... (Waves)

There are still a huge amount of owners waiting for the latest June 30 deadline. I'm not holding my breath. My lease will probably be up before I get an email

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Guess I’m going to be one of the last. Still no email :-(

There is still hope, they are still going out.

I received my "A GIFT FROM GENESIS" email yesterday afternoon and confirmed shipping address.

I was one who ensured communication settings were correct long before the offer started. I called Genesis CS twice, on the original deadline and about 10 days after that. CS confirmed my communication preferences, my email and my shipping address were correct in their system but also confirmed that my email had NOT been sent out with no explanation as to why. I was told it was escalated, but was never promised any other follow-up nor given an exact timeline. Just "keep checking your email and spam".

Note the email I received contains Term and Conditions effective June 5, 2025 so that's after the initial program was supposed to be finished.

The email also states Owners have until June 20, 2025 (yesterday) to update their email and shipping addresses. And that Final Redemption Emails will be sent by June 27, 2025. Owner's have 30 days from receipt of the email to claim.

Incidentally, I haven't had much need for the NACS adapter so far, but I absolutely needed it yesterday.

Ironically I received my email at almost the exact time I limped into an EA station at 3% with 6 cars waiting for for 3 working chargers (out of 8). The guy in front of me had to literally push his car into the stall, he ran completely dry running the A/C while waiting in line.

So, if you haven't received your email yet, try pulling into a charging station running on e-fumes ;). Maybe Genesis gets an automated alert that a car is about to die and actually realizes people can actually use these adapters. I have no other explanation for why I finally received my email.

I wonder if when we call they move the case number (or us) to the back of the line.

Well, up here in Canada, as far as I know there has been no communication whatsoever if, or when, we will get adapters.

Supercharger network is open apparently, but no communication from Genesis

No email love. Opened a case 3+ weeks ago.

Update: Took about 2 days from my submission until I received any kind of Order confirmation email subject "Order Processed". There was a confirmation screen on the webpage (which I screenshotted) immediately after submitting the form, but no follow-on email confirmation until today.

Same timeline for me. It took two calendar days (one business day) to get the "ORDER PROCESSED: FULFILLMENT IS UNDERWAY" email.

Has anyone got tracking after the order processed email? It has been over a week for me, and no tracking yet.
