  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Ok. So I have a 2010 Genesis Sedan V8 w/tech. As some of you remember, I made/developed a prototype lip kit. Well, when it arrived to the body kit company, it arrived in several pieces. SO...they're trying to put Humpty Dumpty back together again and need to borrow a vehicle.

If you were so kind to allow them to use your vehicle for an estimated week, they'd be willing to provide you with a free lip kit for the trouble when it arrives in the states.

They're located in Fullerton, CA. Let me know via email or PM (since I get notifications). I haven't had much time to visit the forums lately. Thank you.

Man...I wish. I'm having a hard time finding time to redo my website. It was hacked pretty bad and embedded with all sorts of crap/spyware. I do have an short ram intake prototype. I need to dyno it though to see if it's even beneficial for anyone. I've ran with it for about 2-3 weeks without any codes, so that's a plus.

Silly question but since many of the complaints I have read regarding the Genny's both V6 and V8 is that the computer system makes the transmission shift to early and thus steals some power from the driver is there any chips out there?

I know that everything in our cars in controlled by the computer from the transmission, to fuel consumption to a multitude of other things. I just figured that a chip that would allow the driver to select a type of mode of driving would be highly sought after. Mix and match transmission styles to the type of driving (city, highway, racing). Just a thought

I've tried so hard to get my friend at Hypertech to pull my car in to build a chip, but they've been more concerned with domestic cars and all trucks. Unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful at getting a company to take a second glance at our vehicles. Dynojet has their programs and flashes that they're using on the 4cyl gen coupes, but unfortunately, it's limited to only the 4cyl. I haven't given up, though. As soon as I know of something, this board will be the first to know.

Perhaps. But he hasn't responded with his information. Whoever does first, gets it. I need name and some type of phone number. The contact person is Geoffrey Brown at Extreme Dimensions. Their phone number can be found on their website: http://www.extremedimensions.com.

I'm told they have someone.

Got the car back Wednesday from Extreme Dimensions, now the wait starts for the production kit.

About 3 months. They made some minor changes, I look forward to seeing it on my car.

Reviving this from the dead. Curious to see how fitment was and how the end result looked on your car. Care to post your thoughts and maybe some pics?

thanks
