If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2011 Price Paid

Out of curiosity, what were other rebates besides competitive/loyalty?

if i had to guess? NY Autoshow? i don't remember. only ones you usually remember are the ones you DONT qualify for lol.

just FYI: current best offer I've received through USAA/Zag Car Buying Service for 2011 4.6 is $34712 which includes competitive ($1500) and military discounts ($500). I'm also eligible for the Graduation incentive ($400) and Hyundai has also added a Motozuma.com down payment matching program ($500)- those bring the price down to $33812 (includes destination and all other manufacturer fees) plus TTL.

for those who are skeptical of the prices I post, this is real. i currently have an offer as above but they don't have the color I want so I'm trying to negotiate that (i.e. a dealer to dealer trade) into the deal.

if it's anything like it is around here you can forget a dealer trade with the ultra good deals. when they trade they end up paying the other dealer just under invoice so you're always paying more for dealer trades. best of luck with the '11's there's only 4 left on my dealer lot, they starting to get a little jumpy waiting for the next load (which will be '12's). mentioned the R spec and was told straight out the Rspec will be MSRP if not over for a while and the others were going to be no where near how thye blew the '11's out until the next model years start to show up (which is what i think we all expected to hear). if hyundai keeps on this sales tear it will be interesting to see what is going to happen with the willingness to come down so low on the genesis'. i like the new LCD info screen between the gauges, the front end and dislike the rear, side and unsure of the 8spd. the ZF 6 spd is just too smooth i'd be lying if i thought the 8spd would be like this. i would bet it is going to feel like the aisin 6spd in the 3.8, not bad but not ZF.

i was very close to buying a genesis last month and the dealer i was working with at that time had negotiated a dealer to dealer trade for a little more than $400. for whatever that's worth.

Hello Everyone,

Just got Genesis 4.6 white/saddle (iPod cable, wheel locks) for $37,250 +taxes and registration fees. I love the car :)
Initially came for blue V6 with Tech package, negotiated down to 35,600, didn't get lease due to the low credit score (640)
Also got some options that I'm now thinking to cancel - I will appreciate your advice on them
1) Sky Link for $637 - maybe useful, I guess I'll get discount in auto insurance
2) Exterior paint - interior protection (scratches, cracks, spills, discolorations, loose stitches, bubble gum, etc. ) - they said if cannot repair - will replace seats - sounds like a good one, for $700 (that one cannot be canceled)
3)Windshield-wheels-tires-body (body : dings and bumps, whatever can be fixed w/ paint-less repair, bend wheels, for windshield - basically everything but smashed windshield) No coverage for vandalism. They also do full detail each time (~900) Really debating this one. What do you think?
Yeah, also we got for free oil changes up to 30k miles, unlimited car washes and loaner car for long services
That's Tusting Hyundai in OC

This sounds like a great price for California. Is the $37,250 after $1500 rebate? or no rebate at this price? Thanks.

Yes, that was with $1500 rebate.
Btw I had prepared Zag prices from Bank of America and also Hyundai Circle, but sales manager gave me that price before seen those, and it was actually lower than those. He was a bit upset when I showed him those print outs ;)
I cancelled all options and should get refund shortly (despite some resistance from dealership - I have all contracts and they have 60 days cancellation policy)

pulled trigger on 2011 yesterday, 4.6 V8 black on tan only option was Ipod cable. Price paid after $1500 competitive discount was $35,212 plus dealer fee $599 and TTL.

Used the Bank of America car buying website and took the best price to the dealer I wanted to deal with and they matched it with no haggle.

Where was the dealership and what zip code did you use for zag? I priced the 2011 4.6 on zag for several states around me and the lowest I get is 38,xxx.

Members I have found this site very useful in my research and this is my first post. I have been looking for a 2010 rebranded model (Not afraid of the DIY). In my looking over the past couple months I am unable to find a 4.6 2010 at a reasonable price point within 200 miles. Located in the Nashville (37203) area.
Reached out to a local dealer who is a equos dealer and they have a white with cashmere 4.6 with ~2700 miles that was a "service" loaner. Dealer will get me out the door for 40,750 with financing incentives (2.9 72 months). This price includes incentives and TTL. I believe this is a good deal and warrants a test drive. BTW I have not even driven one yet and am currently a 2006 TL owner. Any thoughts?

Based on the prices I've seen on here, I'd say NO WAY.

Granted, these prices are not located in your area, but I would drive a couple hundred miles out of my way to save $3 grand.

But that's me. Also, I don't think I'd take a loaner car as "new". Ever. Again, that's me.

you should be able to get a new 2011 for that out the door price. BAD DEAL.

I've just been offered a 2011 base model for zero down and $401 per month incl tax. Does that sound like a good deal???? Thanks so much!

guys, when you say "Can get it 37250 out the door" does that include everything like Destination charge and Incentives ?

for a 2011 V8, I wanna ask them to do 37K b4 any of those, is that too much to ask ? :)

Thx

That is what I paid for '11 4.6 without taxes and tags. I did add badges and wheel center caps for several hundred more.

Yes....only thing extra I paid was Titling Tax and Registration.

Have fun!

The lowest I got so far is 36760. includes the Dest Charge and rebates. It's for a 2011 V8 loaded.

That sounds reasonable ... What you guys think ?
