I have noticed that my car's info such as average speed, hours that the car has been on, etc resets itself every time I turn on the car. The manual states that these items will only reset manually when I hold in the reset button for more than one second. I have not reset ant of the displays manually. Has anyone else had this problem or is there a setting that has the displays resetting themselves automatically?
I sure hope they reprogram this...I have a habit of monitoring my average MPG for each tank of gas. I'd love to be able to manually reset mine at a time of my choosing.

On my Garmin GPS (I don't have the Tech Package), I don't program in my actual home location, only one that at least 1/2 mile away. The reason for that is if someone stole my car, and told the GPS to go home, they would probably be able to get into my garage and the attached house with the garage door opener. It happened again. Thursday, I had gone to a destination that I could not get the GPS system to locate so once I was there I tried to set the destination as a favorite (which I was not able to do). When I came out later I tried to pull up "home" in the address book and it was gone. To make matters worse I could not reprogram "home" into the GPS because it could not find the address. Apparently my home address can only be found when the car is sitting in the drive way (I never realized this before).

If my garage door opener was broken, I would need to be put on suicide watch. Our garage door opener is broken. You have to manually open the door from the inside. Getting it fixed is at the bottom of the twenty page "tomorrow" list that only gets longer and the items on the first page never get done.
If someone did actually get into the garage the alarm would go off.
