Been here awhile...
Hope this hasn't been covered....I've read nearly all of the warranty and extended warranty related threads previously and don't recall this being addressed.
As the second owner of a Hyundai, I understand that I formally would not be provided the 10/100 powertrain portion of the original factory warranty, unless it's a CPO. However, how would/does Hyundai know that the car has changed hands and therefore know to eliminate that portion of the car's warranty package from "the system" unless I were to call them directly? Do the Hyundai dealers automatically do that for them when you go in for service, repairs, etc?
Thanks
