2009 Genesis Driver Information System Died

I have a 2009 Genesis 4 door with the Driver Information System that includes the sound system, gps, back-up cam, etc. While driving and listening to the radio it rebooted and then kept playing. I arrived at my destination, turned off the car, came back later and started it but the screen is now blank and the DIS does not function (no radio, etc). I notice that the light for inserting a CD/DVD is blinking weakly even with the car turned off. Question: Can anyone help me to trouble shoot this problem? I am off warranty and in a remote location with no dealer close by. I am a pretty good mechanic and not afraid to get into stuff like this if I have some direction, manual, etc. Thanks for any help.

1st check the YELLOW master fuse located on the side of the dash once you open the driver door and remove the fuse cover. Your fuse might not be seated correctly, but I'd just take out the fuse and re-install. This may solve the problem.

If that doesn't work, have your batter checked to see if you're due for a new one, and might as well replace the battery in your key fobs too. Having a car battery that is near it's end can create all sorts of problems with electronics.
