  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Since the 2010's are out now I started this thread to seperate the pricing for the 2009's in the last thread. Ready set go:

2010 Platinum Metallic/Black 4.6 Tech Cargo Mat/ Wheel Locks / Ipod Cable

MSRP: $43985
Invoice: $40723 + $150 Ad fee = $40873
Paid: $40503 - $500 military rebate = $40003 + Doc + TTL

No trade

Nicely done!

Interesting I have seen the 2010's showing up on eBay. The price shown for the V8 w/tech package under 40K, plus title, tags, etc.

I wonder what the HAPP pricing will be once the units are on the program web site?
I received an email that the 2010 models should be added this month.

Saw that also in Kansas. Would of cost me more to get the car home then the difference in price. Plus time is money. :D

Bought local from a small dealership in Yuma, AZ. Closest big city is either Phoenix or San Diego. I have only spotted one 2009 Genesis around town and they have a 2009 3.6 on the lot. I took the 2010 off the showroom floor the week in came in. Like to support local when I can.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I hear you. You still got a good deal and didn't have to drive or pay for shipping halfway across the country. Time is quite a bit of money! And it is great to support the local economy if you can.

Let me guess, looking at your ID, you are a pilot for UPS, FEDEX? Just a guess! :D Enjoy your new ride and make sure you post some pictures!

They changed the APP program on Oct 1. You can figure out the price by taking Invoice - 3% MSRP
+ Freight
+ Ad Fee
- Rebates

For my car the APP would of been $39577.45 - $500 military rebate = $39077.45.
We worked off those numbers and there were a few math errors by the dealership to their advantage that I knew about and another error in the math to my advantage. My target was $40000K and I hit it with a few phone calls and 30 minutes of face to face. Easier then I though it would be. With APP it is my understanding that the dealership does not have to participate and honor the price. They can sell the car for what they want. Being a small dealership and factoring in time I felt that the price I paid was fair to both of us. Sales manager said he would do similiar deals (Yuma, AZ). PM me if you want the info and who to talk to.

Close. AV-8B pilot in the USMC. Just moved jobs and I will start to fly the C-12 soon. 3 Years until retirement then FEDEX or UPS or whoever is hiring.

Matt, is that a Hyundai or a Third Party extended warranty?

The MSRP for the 2010 Genesis sedan in Canada gone up $1,000 (now $49,995.00, the 2009 was $$48,995.00). The lease rate for the 2010 is 9.2%/4 year and the lease rate for the 2009 was 2.59%/4 year term. The monthly lease payment for the 2010 Genesis is now $250.00 more per month compare with the 2009!

The extended warranty is underwritten by a third party (CNA)

Are the prices you guys are quoting include the dreaded "doc fee" (extra dealer profit there are no docs)? We have asked the APP folks about whether APP buyers have to pay the doc fee (which can be as much as $800) They are checking.

btw, it's not an extended warranty it's an insurance policy. You have to have $1200 in repairs after the original warranty to break even. Not sure it's a good deal.

I am ready to buy 3.8 Tech sedan in Memphis TN area. What is a reasonable price including shipping and advertising (if appropriate)? I plan to finance and wonder what are current rates for appx. $25000 loan for 36-48 mos.?
Any help will be appreciated.

Yes I paid the DOC fee. Google Arizona and dealer doc fee and you will see it is a no cap state. Wide range on the fees. Mine were average and I still came in under invoice. Now the state taxes here are the shot to the gut. Looking forward toward the deduction on taxes. At least I will get some of it back.

No idea on price in your area. I would shoot for at least invoice if not lower
Go on the big auction site and there is a dealer in Kansas that seems to have low no haggle pricing. Give you some numbers to work with.

For loans, rates will vary bank to bank. Vary on your credit score. Need to just research on line. Credit Unions seem to have good decent rates right now.

I financed $19000.00 for 4 years at 7%and made 3 payments and decided to pay off the loan to save a few thousand bux.
