  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Dmitry - how do you like your slotted/HPS combo? Just got that for the Brembo swap...

What numbers increase are you looking for? Dyno's were released a few weeks ago.

I clearly must have missed that. What were the numbers if you don't mind me asking?

Hey, the setup feels great for street driving. Stopping power is very linear compared to the stock setup with a ton of bite. I'll be at Thunderhill Raceway on 12/19 so I"ll have some idea of what track performance is like.

Here you go (keep in mind both cars have the same bolt on mods, only difference is ECU):

Very good sir. Interested to hear how they perform. Not cheap, but I hear they last as well.

I'm a bit lost here........ what is this "thing" going to do for my 4.6 and how much will it cost? What about installation and warranty?
Any/all help is appreciated.

You'll need to wait for the full details because the exact nature of the tune is unknown. Based on the dynos we know it will increase both horsepower and torque (the torque increase in particular looks meaty). What I'm hoping it will also do (based on experience with ECU tuning in other cars) is raise the rev limit, give us 1:1 throttle and allow for software based ESC disable. Cost hasn't been revealed yet but I'm expecting around $500 based on my experience with various vendors over the years. Installation would be plug & play and you can toss any drivetrain warranty out of the window if the dealer finds out (not likely but possible). I always had a stock ECU on hand for dealer visits with other cars.

The ESC disable is indeed functional. Sam (test car) has verified and enjoyed thoroughly.

Regarding test car; I'm aware of the Cat deletes and the Dynomax mufflers. Can anyone share with me what the "intake mods" are for the test engine?

I believe its the same R2C cold air intake that I'm running. It's a quality piece with a heat shield.
