Isn't the Equus equipped with the 4.6?
I doubt that Hyundai will offer a bigger V8 on a lesser model.
I bet it'll be at least 2012 before the 5.0(if the rumor's true) makes it into the Genesis.

After last year's fiasco when dealers complained about HMA boasting that the 2010 suspension was improved, they are not going to admit to any suspension changes until the last moment to make sure dealers can move out as much of the existing 2010 units from inventory as possible. If there are subtle changes (as opposed to air suspension), they may not admit it at all.Jeff can you try to find out if lane change assist in coming in 2011 and if there will be any suspension changes. Thanks.
Jeff,
I participated in a web session last week with John Krafcik, President HNA on the Hyundai Think Thank and as a result of his comments I question what you are being told and would appreciate you getting additional clarification. John indicated the following regarding Genesis:
1. The tech package will be getting lane change assist . This will also be featured on the Equus. John did not indicate whether this would be a feature on 2011 though or later.
2. The 5.0 engine is only a rumor and you should not believe everything you read on Autoblog.
3. The redesigned Genesis will not be out until 2014.
4. Equus dealers will have the option of offering valet service for the Genesis at their dicretion.
5. AWD option coming in next generation.
6. Microsoft sync time option is only for Kia not Hyundai. There are considered two separate companies.
I tried to find out if there would be any suspension changes in the 2011 but did not receive an answer.
