  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys...

I looked at the Equus over the weekend and was totally impressed, but way out of my price range.

Im looking to upgrade my 09 Genesis to a 2011 sedan. One question I have is the tan interior on the sedan the same color on the Equus? The tan interior on the Genesis looks to be a bit darker tan in the brochure and not as subtle as the Equus. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Seattle Genesis

I really like this color combo... if anyone has any more pics please add them here.

What did you decide on the 'Ride' on the Genesis? - I had read your earlier posts where you sounded like you were going to throw in the towel on the Genesis.

What you are admiring is the "saddle" color interior, which is the same color in both the Equis and Genesis, so says my local dealer.
The only way for you to completely assure yourself is to actually view a Genesis with the saddle interior.

I drove the 2011 V8 and noticed a very satisfactory ride. Not as smooth as the Equus, which was pretty darn nice, but I cant see spending $28k more for a decent ride. Not saying its not worth it.. If I had the money I would be in an Equus today.

I agree 100%, but I have not seen a black with saddle interior in person. Once I get going on the buying of the 2011 V8 Tech I will get the dealer to find me one.
