  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2011 Price Paid

bought at freeman hyundai in TX
2011 4.6 with trunk mat, IPOD cable, window tint for $36646+TTL
salesperson was Matthew Patrick, very professional and easy to work with

Hilton Head SC Hyundai

2011 3.8 with premium package. Pearl white with saddle interior. Picked it up 11/23/10.

32,225 out the door. I paid the TTL (359) seperately. 12k down (no trade) and 2.49% for 48 months.

Price included window tinting, Ipod cable and Road Force balance for a set of Michelin Primacy's from Tire Rack. Had to get rid of the POS Dunlop's immediately. They go on Ebay this weekend.

Price also included a 5 year key replacement warranty which the F&I guy started at 399 and I ended up paying 100 for. I've not had a good history with keys and at 300+ a pop for a new one will probably end up being money well spent.

Easiest transaction I've ever had on a new car.

2011 3.8 w/Tech - 36 month lease $41, 985 Sticker at Roseville Hyundai. Car will be delivered in a few days from below Fresno.

$0 Cap Cost Reduction
$0 Trade
$0 Extra Stuff (except trunk mat, ipod cable and wheel locks which were part of the sticker price)

Drive off was first month payment, title, license and some of the 8.75% county sales tax = $2000 total.

Monthly payment = $505, which includes about $40 balance of sales tax.

After 6 weeks of research and trying a number of cars I decided to get the Genesis. If you are uncertain....just take one for a drive!

Black Friday weekend deal:

2011 Genesis 4.6 Tau v8 Platinum metallic/cashmere @ $37000 before taxes & license: Bay Area, Capitol Hyundai Suzuki

I am so glad I found this site. My current 328i is 12 years old and it's time for a new ride. I am in the process of considering a Genesis. Actually, I have my mind made up, it's just pulling the trigger at this point. I have been to the dealer twice, but have not had a test drive. I am in no hurry at this point, so I am wondering if there is a 'best time to buy'.

I will admit that I am not the best negotiator, so the information found here is very valuable. I am hoping to get in @ around $37,500 before TTL (4.6). I am in the Atl area and hope that some of the dealers around here can offer the same deals that I am seeing elsewhere in this thread.

Thanks in advance for sharing the information.

Joe

Davehep, Cut-Throat - could you post your experience with the Blizzaks in snow? I just had a set of LM-60's installed (also on my wife's G35), but we usually don't get much snow until later in the year. I'd like to hear how they work out. .:)

LOL, I took my JEEP out today, you think I'm stupid or something? ;)

Plus I washed it last night before the storm hit! I always hated a white black vehicle.

I've only had my Genesis for about a week, but so far so good with the Blizzak's. I was out and about last Saturday after a couple inches of snow, and had no real problems getting around.

Today, I left the Genesis parked in favor of my Jeep, as there is about a foot or more of snow on the ground and I thought discretion was the better part of valor!

Finally, went in for a test drive (and much information from this formum), and walked out, actually drove home, with a 2011 4.6, Black/Saddle for $37500+TTL. Of course they had to call the owner of the dealership to get this price b/c it was a loss on the car

Thanks to all for the info...

I've never tried Blizzaks, but I am currently in the biggest Blizzard to hit Minneapolis in about 20 years. Airport is closed, and we are headed to 15 inches plus of snow. Winds gusting to 30 mph.

That is why I was asking Davehep about the tires. If he can drive in this, I'm getting a set of Blizzaks!

Don't know about you Cut-Throat, but I'm hunkered down until Monday morning. It was interesting enough driving with my Jeep Grand Cherokee this morning, I wouldn't even think of going out with my Genesis in this stuff, unless it were an emergency, even with the Blizzak's. I'm not so concerned about getting around, it's all the other fools on the road I'm worried about.

Yup, I am hunkered down also. Have not left the house! --- Have you tried the Blizzaks in last week's storm?

BTW- Did you have the Blonde (Lisa) Salesgal at Morries?

Yeah, I was out and about last Friday and Saturday, no problems at all, except for all the salt! The Genesis and Blizzaks did very well. Both freeway and side roads were handled well.

I actually worked with Steve who is the internet Manager at Morries. He was a good guy, I'd work with him again any time.

Last Feb we had 4' in four days - nobody was going anywhere; but after the dig-out the roads were still terrible for a week. This was before I bought my Genesis, but I'm sure I would not have gone far on the Dunlops.

Black Friday weekend deal:

2011 Genesis 4.6 Tau v8 Platinum metallic/cashmere @ $37000 before taxes & license: Bay Area, Capitol Hyundai Suzuki
For the Bay Area Capitol Hyundai purchaser:
I'm about to get a V8 Genesis too. Can you tell me if this price you paid included the competitive owner rebate or any other special deals of financing? And did it include any other optional items? I know there are very few optional items for the V8 but a few like trunk mat, ipod cable, wheel locks, etc are available. And also the special Genesis logo (instead of the Hyundai logo) is available, I understand, but don't know the cost. Thanks a lot for helping me out and save me endless hours negotiating with the dealer :).
