  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2011 Price Paid

For the Bay Area Capitol Hyundai purchaser:
I'm about to get a V8 Genesis too. Can you tell me if this price you paid included the competitive owner rebate or any other special deals of financing? And did it include any other optional items? I know there are very few optional items for the V8 but a few like trunk mat, ipod cable, wheel locks, etc are available. And also the special Genesis logo (instead of the Hyundai logo) is available, I understand, but don't know the cost. Thanks a lot for helping me out and save me endless hours negotiating with the dealer :).

Cargo tray, iPod cable and heel locks are included, but the un-Hyundai :) logo is not (I've seen these on eBay, though). I think rebate of $2500 was kind of made on the spot, although I did fill out a form for a competitive owner rebate as well. I took the 60 months financing at 2.9% with $0 down. No trade-in.

Thanks for the info. That is a great price, and including the good financing terms!! Wonder how much the "unHyundai" emblem cost :). Competitive rebate is $1500. So you must have gotten another $1000 rebate of some sort too. With MSRP of $43800 or so, you had another $3000 discount. That is definitely a great deal. I'll try my local dealer this weekend and see what they can give me.

Just got mine, 1/29/11. 35,600 price plus taxes and fees.

After negotiating price, I instead went for a 36month, 36K mile lease for $508.00 per month. They used one of the rebates to pay for my dealer fees etc, so i all i did was come in and sign.

Final lease payment is 525+ tax as I added Gap Insurance and Lease End Insurance.

They originally quoted my 39K until I told them I had a quote for 35, and then they agreed to match it. Dublin Hyundai in SF Bay Area.

Advice to anyone who leases, negotiate price like a purchase, then switch to lease.

Recently leased a 4.6. Sticker was 43,985. I paid 3,000 out of pocket, including tax, and I'm paying 440 a month, including tax. 36 month lease. 15,000 miles a year. I'm pretty happy with the deal.

I just bought my brand new Titanium Grey on Black 2011 Genesis V6 Base (with trunck tray and ipod cable) for $33,300 out the door. This included tax (at 8.25%) title and license, it also includes bumper to bumper platinum coverage for 10 yr/100k mile ($1,400), and 3 yr/36k mile maintance free coverage plan ($400). So before TTL and added coverage plans the price was about $28,500, which to me is a steal for this ride. Only have had it for 2 days and I am in love!

Date: end of January 2011
Model: 3.8 V6 with Premium package (Titanium/Black)
Added: wheel lock, cargo mesh, ipod cable
Dealer: Bay Area CA
Mileage: less than 100 miles with test drive (warranty extended by as much)
Rebates included: $2500 (competitive + auto show)
Out the door: $35,800

Been waiting for some good low financing deal since I joined this forum - none came up except leases so i just decided to buy it. Lexicon system is worth the upgrade to Premium.
Good luck with your search.

Platinum Metallic/Black, 4.6. Final deal was $37200 which included the $1500 Loyalty (we have a 2004 Sonata). Sales taxes (TX) $2325, Fees of $325 (Title/License/State Inspection/Docs).

Bought a brand new 2011 3.8 base last night for $28,500 +ttl :)

Titanium Metallic/Black, 4.6. Final deal was $37485 which did not include either of the 1500 loyalty/comp credits. Sales taxes (VA) $1199.52, Fees of $464 (Title/License/State Inspection/Docs).

I feel good about it :)

Went shopping on 3/23/11 for a 2011 3.8 V6 Genesis sedan but couldn't resist buying a 2010 4.6 V8 demo with 2681 miles fully loaded with Technology Package for $34,639 after $1500 competitive rebate and before TTL. Car is titled as new so got full warranty, plus 36-month 0% financing. Was a little leery of a demo but car looks new and smells new so I'm happy. Don't know if I got the best possible deal but feel like a million bucks driving this incredible car!

Just purchased on 3/26/2011 a 3.8 base (platinum on cashmere) for 30,700 out the door - front and rear badge, cargo net. 0.9% financing for 36 months. Oh and 7% tax.

And this dealership has 20 year / 200,000 mile powertrain warranty (original owner only - and no, I do not plan on driving it 20 years but nice to know its covered lol).

Did you get it from Rick Case in Atlanta? I ask this because Rick Case offers 20/200,000 warranty. If you did, the Rick Case in Duluth GA has a very good service Department.

I did. Glad to know their service department is good :)

Just got a 2011 Genesis with premium package sapphire blue and cashmere interior and paid close to $33000.00 not including sales tax. And that was here in Texas

If that's a 4.6 (and I'm pretty sure you said it was in another thread), I think you got yourself a STEAL.

Well done... congrats on the new ride!

Since he said with premium package, I would assume V6. Still a good deal. I hope that there will be similar wiggle room or at least some room for negotiation in the '12's.

Congratulations...you got a great deal. If you don't mind, which dealer?

Wife priced them in Dallas, and went to local dealer here in south Texas, and. After some negotiating he matched the price.

Leased V6 with technology package. Titanium with black interior.

$2K down and $432/mo for 36 months including tax, title, license, etc. I really wanted the 2012 but couldn't wait so I leased.

Nice car.
