  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

In looking at the available 2011 V6 inventory in the circle program in my area, none of the V6's have the tech package. Are others seeing the same thing?

Maybe they have all been sold? Ask your dealer about it.

They are available with the tech package. Like another said, they may just not have any with them at your local dealer.

For some reason the 2011 V6 Genesis w Tech Package are not making it out to California. I've checked Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco, Riverside, and Sacramento. All show 0 inventory for 2011 V6 Genesis w Tech Package. Then I checked Dallas, and they have plenty.

Very curious... Maybe I'll just buy the V8 instead.

I thought long and hard about getting tech when I bought, but I figured a) the tech package didn't include anything that I was lusting after, and b) it's just more stuff to break. So I got Premium w/touchscreen nav, which I seldom use, and am completely happy with my choice.

I actually am a bit concerned about the tech system breaking given one of the threads on here about the tech system glitches. I looked at the non-tech with the other packages because I also wanted to check out the touchscreen nav. But, believe it or not, there is a huge difference in the sound quality of the 17 speaker system vs the 14 speaker system. For me, that alone is worth the price difference and potential reliability problems of the tech package.
