Good! Hopefully their next step will be to turn the R-Spec into a model worthy of the label "R-Spec". Don't get me wrong, the '12 R-Spec is a great car and by far the nicest car I've owned. I love it and I knew what it was before purchasing it.
The current R-Spec is basically a $2K option to get an awesome engine and handsome (IMO) wheels. But after upgrading the standard V8, the current R-Spec would basically be a $2K
wheel package. To maintain product differentiation they should bump up the price of the R-Spec by $5K or so and use that to pay for shift paddles, a fatter steering
wheel, sport exhaust, driver-selectable ride settings, and a more aggressively bolstered driver seat. I.e. make it a true sport sedan.
