  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I original purchased a set of wheels, snow tires, and OEM TPMS from my local Hyundai dealer for my 2012 Genesis 4.6. Recently I replaced the car with a 2015 Genesis and I had my local tire store put the wheels with the snow tires on my new car but the could not program the TPMS as they indicated the 2015 Genesis was not an option in their TPMS syncing tool. I then took the car back to the Hyundai dealer that sold me the wheels , tires and OEMs originally. They tried programming the TPMS and could not and concluded that the original OEM sensors were not compatible with the Gen2 Genesis. They quoted me a price of $525 for four new sensors. Has any one else had this experience and are in fact the sensors from my 2012 not compatible with my 2015?

You can buy the 2015 sensors on ebay for much cheaper. Someone on this forum (who I believe lives in Canada) bought them on ebay and they worked fine (assuming you get the 2015 sensors). I would try and find the post on this subject to get the right part number and ebay link.
