Hi Guys, I have a 2012 Genesis V6 with 17 inch wheels. I'm interested in replacing the wheel caps with the KDM Genesis logo ones. I tried searching the forums, but couldn't find confirmation that the caps used on previous year 17 inch wheels would work with the 2012.

Does anyone know if this product would work?

Thanks so much

If your wheels are the type with the same small pop in/out center then I would say they will work. to be sure take a good measurement of the ones on your wheels then call the supplier and get the measurements of the one online. Also take one of your's out and compare it to the online photo as to how it snaps in place. I suspect it is the same size.

They are not easy to remove with the wheels on. I had mine (2009) replaced by the tire shop when they did my first tire rotation.

Looking at photos, the 2012 17inch wheels like different from the older ones. It only has fewer spokes. Has anyone who owns a 2012 with 17 inch wheels successful installed the kdm wheel caps?

I also have a 12 3.8 with the refreshed 17inch rims. I bought those same caps, had the dealer install them and they fit and look great! Don't try it yourself. They have to take all the wheels off and do it from the inside. Charged me an hour of labor.

Thanks for the info Nathan! I think I'll have the wheel caps installed when my car is due for a tire rotation.

I have a 2012 and the caps fit perfectly. They are really easy to pry out with a very small screw driver. I did wrap a piece of electrical tape around it. The whole job took less than 5 minutes. Another way to remove them if you are not planning on keeping the originals is to run a dry wall or any other screw into them and pull them out with pliers.
