  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

As of today (10/11/2012) According to www.cars.com I did a search for 2013 Hyundai Genesis Sedans and found there are 233 total 2013 sedan models being sold in CA, PA, FL, NY, and NJ.

I'm ready to buy my first Genesis:
Color: White / Tan interior
V6 - 3.8L
Package 3 (Premium / Technology)

Although I don't know how accurate Cars.com is nor do any of these models appear to have Package 3 installed on them. Go figure.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Korean conspiracy?

I was going to say alien... but korean works too

please note local dealer has two 2013s listed at 40k... unfamiliar with pricing for the v6s

ppp

p.s. one of the reasons why i purchased a 2012 rspec... normally the low tech cars arrive first and the bestest cars arrive last ;)

It even reads on the hyundai website that the tech package is delayed.

But its going to be sweet...64gb solid state hdd, better nav voice commands and function, full blue link support (?), and an 8" screen. Thats why I dont own a genesis right now.

Well upgraded nav is already 8"
Blu link imo is highly over rated and over priced
The 64gb can be replaced with ipod etc.

The only benefits is upgraded nav software, ability to stream via blutooth though i hear quality will be less then local storage.

Not a deal breaker to buy now or wait.

Only reason to wait would be resale value when you sell.

Good points PP. Same size screen as my '09 and my dad cancelled his Blue Link on his Azera when his free trial ran out and he found out it's an insane amount of money. With how much they charge, I would never want it at this point, although it is impressive.

Not sure how accurate what i have been reading online is, but there are some differences from the 12's to the 13's. The biggest statement is better nav commands and improvements to how the infotainment system works.

If this is indeed the new design for the 2014 Genesis - I just might have to sit back and wait until this comes out.
Oh Hyundai, you appear to be making all the right moves....

...but darnit, I want it NOW! :)

EDIT: Although this design looks really good, I just noticed what appears to be the Equus emblem on the back (?)

I think our both genesis and Equus are sold under the Equus brand in Korea instead if hyundai

That's an Equus concept drawing. It's been around for a while now.

I believe you are looking at a 2014 Genesis. At the very least it will look very much like that car.

Nope. Here is the link to an old article in 2009. http://www.asdlabs.com/blog/2009/01/page/11/

2010 Hyundai Equus VI

Hyundai is continuing their metamorphosis from crap-box automaker into an all around car giant. The latest leap for Hyundai is the redesign of the existing and bland <a mce_thref=” target=”_” />Equus sedan, as the Lexus LS, BMW 7-Series and Mercedes Benz S-Class eating concept, codenamed VI. Still in the sketch stage, these images of the VI are expected to result in a car on the streets by 2010. Unfortunately Hyundai has no intentions of releasing the VI for the North American or European markets.

Noticed that there was only 1 2013 Genesis listed on cars.com today. Two weeks ago there was over 300. Wonder if they got recalled for something...

317 are on cars.com right now. Maybe you didn't edit the search radius field.
