I've searched the net and none of the wheel visualizers are up to date with the 2015 Genny yet. Has anyone contemplated putting some custom wheels on the new genny? I'm probably picking up a black on black V6 ultimate next week and am interested in replacing the stock 18s.

How much did the wheel change affect the ride quality?
Can anyone verify the bolt pattern and wheel offsets for the V6 AWD 18" wheels? Also, any recommendations for aftermarket Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors to go in aftermarket wheels?
Thanks,
Eric
Aren't you asking for drivetrain/differential issues by putting different size tires on an AWD vehicle? I've always been told you need all 4 tires to be the same on an AWD car - so if you trash a tire after, say, 10 miles (i.e., when it has some wear), then you need to replace all 4 so they are the same diameter. For the same reason, you need to make sure you rotate regularly to ensure even wear at all 4 corners, no?
If I had an AWD genesis this setup would still work just fine since the diameter is essentially the same front to rear,
295/30/20 = 26.97"
255/35/20 = 27.03" for a difference of .06 or 1/16"
You are correct as to rotating the tires, but if you are worried about spending an extra 600.00 bucks on tires every 20000 miles then maybe you shouldn't run a staggered fitment as it is just for looks.![]()
Thanks - for some reason, I thought you had an AWD Genesis. Out of curiosity, wouldn't the staggered set up of tire width also be an issue for an AWD car as the front/rear contact patches would be quite different too?
I don't think it matters. Here is a quote about the Porsche 911 ,
"The 911 Carrera models are equipped with 19-inch Carrera wheels as standard. These are lightweight alloys featuring a classic sporty design. Tire sizes are 235/40 ZR 19 and 285/35 ZR 19 at the front and rear, respectively. All-wheel-drive models are fitted with even wider 295/35 ZR 19 tires at the rear"
So it appears that wider does not affect the AWD system- at least on a Porsche.
