  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2015 Aftermarket Wheels?

Seriously? 22s look ridiculous. There is virtually no sidewall on those tires.
That wheel in 20" would look great but 22s just look silly.

I personally dislike when there's too much sidewall. The less sidewall, the better it looks in my opinion. But yeah I see your point. In this case, 20" would indeed look better.

2015 Hyundai Genesis - YouTube

Heres a video I found on youtube. Makes his Genny 10 times more beautiful!! 22inch Impulse 88 rim
Respectfully disagree. I LIKE the fact that I have 18 inch wheels instead of the 19's that were on my Azera. I want some sidewall on my tire. The bigger the wheel/tire, the less attractive to me (personally). Of course, this is a question of taste, so there's no right or wrong, but I can't imagine an aftermarket wheel complimenting my car better than what came with it, and that's a first for me.

+1 :)

Again

+ 3. The ride quality with those 22's must suck! I like the stock 19's a lot too and have considered buying a set, but am concerned I'd give up a little ride quality/quietness vs the 18's if I did that.

So again, I think Hyundai is missing an opportunity to market the AWD for handling as even in dry weather having all 4 wheels drive the car is better.

That's half of the reason why I wanted AWD. :)

Past reviews have stated that the 19" wheels do create more road noise.
Makes sense.
I like my car as silent as possible.

If I could have convinced the dealer to put 18 inch wheels on my last Azera, I would have had my 19's replaced, but that's what came with the tech package, and I was stuck with them. You can just look and tell there's practically nothing between the wheel and road; I don't see how ride quality isn't compromised by this.

I've searched the net and none of the wheel visualizers are up to date with the 2015 Genny yet. Has anyone contemplated putting some custom wheels on the new genny? I'm probably picking up a black on black V6 ultimate next week and am interested in replacing the stock 18s.
Tire Rack has a good selection. I upgraded to the BBS CH The are awesome

I just picke dup my 2015 last week. Tinted already, plan on doing 22's. Anyone mounted 22s on one? Any issues? Size recommendations? I

Man, am I ever boring. I think the factory wheels on my Black 2WD Ultimate are the best looking wheels I've ever owned, and match the car perfectly. I wouldn't even consider swapping them.

I agree!

I love the stock ultimate wheels, but I wonder what my ultimate wheels would look like on the r spec and vice versa.

The tire choice makes the road noise, not the wheel size

I put 20' black matte Giovanna Kilis staggered. Looks and drive good.
