2015 Emblems on a 2009+ Genesis

So I ordered a set of Front (Hood) and Rear (Trunk) 2015 emblems from the Genesis.

Hood Part Number: 86320 B1000

Trunk Part Number: 86330 B1000

The whole process took about 20 minutes each side. The longest part were removing the old residue that was sunbaked onto the paint. Used dental floss and a heat-gun (didn't affect paint and 3M). Since the hood DOES NOT have any holes, a dremel tool was used to level the surface. The rear lining bolts didn't match either (2015 is wider), therefore a dremel was used again to level the surface.

Is the 2015 emblem a different finish than the previous model? Color looks more satin/brushed.
I like the rear. Never been a fan of the hood emblem.

Yeah, it's much larger and less polished. Definitely a satin-y more refined appearance if you understand what I mean. My buddy's 15 has them and they are large compared to mine.

Satin does look better just wish they were the same size, new ones look too big IMO. Wish all my "chrome" trim was satin...

I like the rear. Never been a fan of the hood emblem.

It's bigger and has a flat look to them. Does not reflect light like the chrome ones.

My previous were chrome.

Today, I had 2 people ask how I like driving a Bentley. I've only gotten that twice before.
