  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2015 Genesis Cabin Noise

I thought my Sonata was quiet, but the Genesis is noticeably quieter. There are no rattles, wind noise and just a hint of engine noise. Some road noise but the roads in the UK are now third world standard. It was kind of eerie the first time my wife and myself drove around, and just talking normally (yes, I do talk to my wife):) It was noticeable that we didn't have to raise our voices. I think you tend to raise voice volume without realising it in a more inferior car.

the comfort of almost no cabin noise was one of the first reasons to buy the Genesis :)
after the first test drive of 3 days, when I go back to the KIA Optima, I thought that Im in a donkey cartful wagon ... the difference was significant especially when I go on the highway.
Now with the Genesis, Im driving with 140-150-170km/h and the feel of the speed is not like the Optima .. in the Genesis is quiet and the power of the engine is inline :)
