2015 Genesis CO2 sensor

I just recently purchased a 2015 Genesis 3.8 ultimate package including in that package is a CO2 sensor upon reading the instructions the CO2 sensor can be turned off and on manually as I followed the instructions from the owners manual the icon does not appear on the current climate control window as stated in the menu.I took the car back to the dealership and has a service manager and salesman come and try to get the indicator to come on and off like described in the owners manual.
I brought the car back last Monday to have a mechanic look at it he had to make a phone call to the Hyundai technicians because he could not get the sensor to come on or off as indicated in the manual the technicians had informed him that they would have to call Korea to find out why that indicator is not showing in the climate control windoe while waiting for my car I had a salesman start up two more ultimate packages one was a 3.8 the other was a 5.0 and reading the owners manual as described following the same procedures the indicator does not display as the manual says it should has anyone experienced this problem the CO2 sensor is only for the ultimate package Genesis.I have attached a description and a picture of the CO2 sensor has anyone experienced this problem please advise.

Hi, do you have an update on this case? Just bought 2015 3.8 (russian market, but more or less identical to us market) and was not able to force co2 indicator to go on/off as was described in the manual. Just wondering, whether it works or not.

The owners manual is incorrect you cant turn on/off the Co2 senor but I have seen the senor come on twice in my car and I was able to turn the indicator off. Yes the senor works.
