Installed on Friday - took only about 20 minutes. Did not notice anything out of the ordinary in my limited time reviewing the menus. The MnSoft website shows some menu changes and refers to enhanced BT and Apple Siri Eyes Free compatibility.

Need to check the listed V9 Features:

Enhanced User Interface
- Find Places(Quick search): search bar for points of interest and addresses
- Smart route calculation
- Enhanced Bluetooth Compatibility & Voice Recognition
- Apple Siri Eyes Free
* on select models

From what I see at the MnSoft site it looks the same as V8.5, with the exception of the Siri Eyes Free and more roads and POIs.

I was hoping they had made some changes to the map displays.

Updated to map version 9 today. Anybody notice it takes longer for DIS to load after upgrade?

We are in the same boat. I contacted Universal Hyundai in Orlando and after 20 minutes of back and forth I was told that my version is the latest one.

Most interested in the Voice Recognition update. Notice any difference?

I just completed the map update 9.5 that was released on 12/7/2015. I completed the update myself in less than 40 minutes. I was told that my dealer never did version updates prior to new car delivery. I bought my Genesis 5.0 Ultimate on April 3, 2015. The version on my car was 6.5. After being rerouted around traffic onto a dead end street I looked for an update. The cost of the update from MapNSoft was $219, but take heart. The install is extremely easy. Install instructions are included in the kit along with a new SD card with the new firmware and a USB stick with the update files. The changes since 6.5 are substantial. The install instructions are on the website so you can see how easy the install is and MapNSoft will tell you the current version is to help you decide update timing.

(Please rename thread to spell Genesis correctly).

Went to my dealer a second time today to get the latest GPS Map update to version 9.

I have a 2015 Hyundai Genesis Ultimate Package with Jog/Dial.

My current version shows NAM 07.47.65.001.002

The MapNSoft website shows version 9 to be 08.41.52.591

Dealer insist I have the latest version already installed...

Which is correct? Has anyone else got the new updated version that has been mentioned on this forum to have arrived around June 1st?

Latest version 9.5 released 12/7/15. NAM 08.47.44.552.004.1

Go to www.mapnsoft.com. After you enter your vehicle information, the changes since 9.0 are detailed. I have not driven my car since the update, my impressions will follow. I would have bought the update based on changes since 9.0, I When you call MapNsoft a CR will give you you current version based on the code you find in the system.

Jumping at least 3 versions definitely is pretty huge for me, especially if you live n N Dallas Metroplex area.
Not only the map wise but a nice little touch is the disclaimer greeting message no longer gets stuck there until you press "OK" (which is now replaced with "CONFIRM"). It will now get to the next screen after approx. 60 secs or so even you select not to press anything.
The v9.5 update took almost an hour to install a bit longer than what I'd expected but it's was well worth $177.

Went to Dealer to get my GPS upgraded. Dealer didn't have the Upgrade Package. Dealer said they would call me when they received the Upgrade Package. Current version was 6.5

Went to the Mapnsoft.com website and ordered the kit. The new version is 9.5 and the changes are substantial. For me, it was worth the cost of $219.00 + Shipping.

The upgrade took less than 45 minutes and was extremely easy. You don't need the dealer to do this upgrade.

It also included a big upgrade to the Hyundai Voice Recognition System. This was a surprising and welcomed improvement. Phone calls on the BlueTooth system are much easier now.

The Dealer still hasn't called me back about receiving the new upgrade package. I can't wait to tell them that I did it myself in 40 minutes. They quoted 5 to 6 hours.

After I completed the install I called MapnSoft and asked them when the next upgrade will arrive. I upgraded at the end of April 2016. The next upgrade will come out in June or July 2016. I think I'll wait until next year to do another upgrade.

And I'll be getting my free update v9.5 next week. I hope they order right software this time.... don't want to waste another ~2+ hours.

Maybe I should stall them till v10 comes out?

I got the update USB stick and started it at 4:30. It's now 9:30 and it's not done. I'm not sure if it's stuck or still updating. It's been at the Genesis logo the whole time with no status.

Update. After waiting 5 hours for the update, I finally gave up and turned the car off. It was bricked. I informed Mapnsoft and sent them photo's of my upgrade, and they said I will need a replacement head unit.
