No, I had plenty of room after removing the air box.

Got around to doing the mod to my ‘15 HTRAC. I wasn’t expecting to do so much soldering so it took me a while. I tried my best to hide the wires too. All of the connections under the hood are soldered, shrink wrapped, and wrapped with electrical tape. I went the easy way out and used wire taps under the dash.

Thanks so much for the write up. I just hope my work stands the test of time.

Curious, how long did the mod take you to complete?

It seems straight forward enough but I don't want to mess with my extended warranty... yet

About 8 hours or so. Including figuring out where to run the wires and a couple do-overs with the connections. I have an extended warranty too. We’ll see if this bites me in the butt later.

Question, I just picked up a 2015 lease return. Is it normal for the led strip to be illuminated in the parking light position? Just trying to see if the previous owner did something beneficial for me.

Yes, stock setting is it’s illuminated in dim mode when the light switch is in park position.

Is there such a thing as a quiet relay? I can hear the ones I installed clicking when my turn signal is on.

Mines are attached to the back of the headlight so I don't hear them at all.

I have 4 of them as my original intent was to use them to mimic oem blinker behavior which would turn off the LED DRL while the blinker was on but I decided not to do it as I prefer the DRL LED to stay on with the blinker. I have them sitting in my garage so I can check tomorrow or Sunday if they are quiet.

Would it be possible to post a guide that allows to have fog LED strip always while ignition is on?
If I understand correctly, it should be a relatively easy mod.

Great job. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is it possible to tap a 12v acc line to the wire under the headlights? This would give the LED DRL’s constant power when the key is on. What am I missing?

OK I own a 2015 5.0 in the USA. I have the Amber lights as my DARL and blinker combo. Will this apply at all with my model?

Is there a fix or process to 1. Keep amber DRL/turn signal and 2. Increase Accent / Parking light intensity while keeping side marker light? Thanks
