2015 V6 Ultimate, Casablanca White!! New owner

Hello all! I've lurked this site long enough and finally decided to post. I picked up my 15 V6 Ultimate in August and I absolutely love it. Coming from a Lexus ISF, I would've never imagined in a million years that I would be driving a Hyundai. This car is impossible to ignore for the design, attention to detail, and overall value. So far I've tinted the windows, removed all wording from the back and replaced the "H" with the winged badge. Look forward to being a member here and learning more about the car. My car also came with the hancook tires but they ride just fine so I plan to keep them for a few before going back for the Michelins (I recieved the letter from Hyundai already).

montecito blue ftw. it was the color of the genesis concept and the color of genesis.

white is nice but the car shows too much black trim for a light color.

Thanks for the warm welcome! If my local dealer had a blue Genesis available that would've deffinately complicated things lol. I was set on getting a tech 3.8 but they had none in white with black interior. Of course the only white with black interior Genesis available was being driven by the manager and it was a ultimate. Long story short they made me a very generous offer on that Genesis and it was a done deal. So glad I went with the Ultimate.

my local dealer has tons of white genesis with every possible int/ext combination .... i asked why so many White and Silver ?? he goes "you know who buy most these cars" (old ppl) and they prefer white ... I Choose Empire Grey ..

how possible you like this car after ISF ??

Looks like there has been a bit of a run on white Genny's being purchased lately on this board Mine is white too... 4 days old and I put 500 miles on.

Yeah bcoz white is available every where and you get the best deal on that

Maybe it is different in your region of the country - but out here in Chicagoland it is hard enough to find ANY Gennys on the road - G1 or 2! Very far and few between.... and the ones I do see are NOT white. I have only ever seen 2 of them around here. All the others are black or the off-blue/gray.

Hi all,

Add me to the list... 2015 3.8 AWD with Technology Package (Canada), picked up about 4 weeks ago. White wasn't my first choice, but I'm ok with it now.

Very happy with the car so far, and gas mileage has been surprisingly good, at least compared to my old 2009 G37 6MT.

I got what I wanted! A white Genesis. I'm 32 years old..not quite elderly yet lol. I knew my next car would be white before I even arrived at the dealership. I like the look with the black roof and grille, it has a nice contrast and looks pretty classy to me (and many others judging by the compliments and stares). The other colors are ok, but the white won me over, especially after the window tint. My dealer only had 2 white Genesis on the lot and 1 of them I bought. As far as the lexus ISF, I do not miss it one bit. While a nice car.. The suspension was rough, the interior was small, and the features were outdated. Not to mention the rediculous maintenance cost that lexus charged to keep it serviced. I much prefer my smooth and silent Genesis, it has won me over! To each their own I guess ... But this car is seriously good!

White is a good color for the hot FL sun, light-colored FL dirt, and bird poop. It also easier for other drivers to see in the dark and heavy rain.
