2016 Buick Avenir - competition for Genesis?

Never been a Buick fan but have to admit, from the front and side this concept is a beauty. Looks a lot like our 2015 Gennys from the side with the long hood. Would come in AWD if they decide to make it. Still don't like the boattail rear end. Regardless, good to see the auto industry continuing to innovate and compete with each other. What do you think of the Avenir's looks?

It's a nicely-styled-concept, I'll give it that. It will be interesting to see how it translates to production.

From some angles... it looks like a Acuta TL rear ended a BMW Z8...

it is interesting looking. Buic has some interesting vehicles.


the seating for 4 - don't like the thing in the center of the car. Great for a design, but need to "hide" for my needs.

Backed is a bit heavy looking. Nice car though as long as they dont pair it up with a 4 cyl engine.... LOL

Actually it does since it derives much of its styling cues from Buicks of an earlier era.
