This is sooooo irritating. My first Genesis was a 2010. It had a defective lumbar support when delivered. I also went through the steering wheel switch problem that affected so many others.
My 2013 operated for 2-1/2 years without a single problem. I figured Hyundai had figured out quality control.
Now my new 2016 Ultimate AWD has the same defective lumbar support problem as my first one. It is not only irritating that I must take time to get it repaired, I fully expect a minimum of two trips to the dealer, as happened the first time. They will tell me that the seat is defective, which I already know. Then they will tell me they don't have the parts, so I will be sent home to wait until they invite me to make at least one more trip, but that will probably translate into two trips, since it will have to stay a while. They fixed the 2010 by replacing the entire seat.
