And yet owners at Edmonds have different reviews

That Consumer reports lost me when it said the Genesis G90 " felt quicker"....when it actually wasnt versus the LS500 in 0-60 or 1/4 mile
Here is US News 4.5 star out of 5 in reliability
I am more interested in facts...
Warren
Oh wait....Oh, so you CAN'T find the "many more places" like Edmunds as you originally claimed and continue in your feeble attempts to discredit Consumer Reports. Thanks for proving my point. A certain ex-president would welcome you on his legal team.
Yes please, be sure to also include the relevant portions that measure reliability for the fuel system, engine components, brakes, body integrity, and so on like the criteria established in Consumer Reports. Oh wait... where are those on Edmunds?
What???
The Lexus LS500 has below average reliability?.....Please post links to those stats because I have heard its quite the opposite
I have not seen you post anything that unhinged since you said used Tellurides were going for sticker or that they were the most expensive vehicle in the Kia showroom!!
The Lexus LS is a different type of car...There is no V8
But the finish, technology and customization options are at a higher level than the G90......and so is the cost ,new or used
The Lexus LS500 is also faster 0-60 and in the Quarter mile than the V8 G90...if one cares about those stats
www.carindigo.com...is the source of the performance stats
Neither vehicle compares to the twin turbo V8's and V12's, performance wise, of the Germans full size sedans...but that is completely different ball park of money
Like I have posted many times...that buyer wants absolutely cutting edge technology and customization
Something that the Germans excel at

Kia's latest entrant in the competitive mid-size-SUV segment–the handsome Telluride–is proving quite popular. According to a new report from Cox Automotive, it appears to be luring moneyed buyers to the value brand's showrooms.
As first reported by Cars Direct, the Telluride's average transaction price since going on sale eight months ago is over $40,000, meaning most buyers are going with the top-spec SX trim or spending money on options for the midrange EX. Although base Telluride LX models start at just $32,785, the EX and SX start at $38,185 and $42,585 respectively.
Does it matter if something " feels quicker".....that is such a subjective numberFeeling quicker and actually being quicker are 2 different things and can depend on transmission programming/shift speeds, etc.
Both MT and C/D got the same naught to 60 time for both turbo-6s, so it's entirely feasible that one can feel quicker.
Right, instead you found 20 3-sentence reviews on a used car site and deem it more trustworthy than Consumer Reports. No sorry, continue to complain about the fake ballots-er owners.Oh wait....
I am still waiting on those "hundreds if not thousands" of LS500 owners you mentioned from Consumer reports
I cannot wait to see those "hundreds if not thousands" of LS500 owners you mentioned specifically
Warren
Feel free to keep moving those goalposts, mateDoes it matter if something " feels quicker".....that is such a subjective number
Five people could have different opinions about "feels quicker"
A quicker 0-60 and 1/4 mile time is actually quicker

From a performance standpoint, the Genesis G90 splits the difference between the Lexus and Bimmer. The Hyundai-sourced 3.3-liter twin-turbo V-6, sporting 365 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque, helps get the G90 from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds, tying the LS 500.
I would hope something new is going for closer to sticker![]()
Kia Telluride Rakes In Profit as Customers Are Buying Them Loaded
Kia's mid-size SUV is selling for an average of $40,000 and up, showing the brand is not just for bargain hunters anymore.www.caranddriver.com
That's a higher ATP than the Acura brand.

Kia Vastly Underestimated Demand For The Telluride SUV - Jalopnik
Kia’s initial production plans for its new Kia Telluride three-row SUV were 60,000 units built per year. With actual production capacity now peaking at 100,000 units and still not enough cars to meet demand, Telluride buyers are going to have to wait.jalopnik.com
There are still regions where the Telluride SXP is going for $6k+ above MSRP; you don't think a lightly used model would go for MSRP?
LMFAO.....and how more vehicles, in the line up, does Lexus have than GenesisRight, instead you found 20 3-sentence reviews on a used car site and deem it more trustworthy than Consumer Reports. No sorry, continue to complain about the fake ballots-er owners.
What's even more funny was how you linked J.D. Power earlier where they rank Genesis as being the most reliable car brand above Lexus.![]()

BMW 740e vs. Lexus LS 500 vs. Genesis G90 3.3T vs. Lincoln Continental 3.0
If you're looking for a $100,000 luxury sedan, should you choose the BMW 740e plug-in, Lexus LS 500, Lincoln Continental 3.0, or Genesis G90 3.3T?www.motortrend.com
I see you didn't take basic statistics in high school. A larger sample size reduces error, not increase it. If all Lexus had to assess reliability with was the LS500, the entire brand would be at the bottom of the barrel in JDP's list.LMFAO.....and how more vehicles, in the line up, does Lexus have than Genesis
And how many more hundreds of thousand of vehicles does Lexus sell that Genesis does not?
Wow...seriously?!
Lexus sold over 300K vehicles in the United States in 2020....Genesis sold about 16,000
But..you saw another link I posted. Thats a step in the right direction
baby steps........
But..I am still waiting for the "hundreds if not thousands" of LS500 owners you mentioned?

Manufacture specs =/= real world testing under the same conditions like in Motor Trend's test. Sorry I have to explain such a basic concept to you.what goal posts am I moving?

You realize there are more expensive vehicles in this class that are selling in more volume...right?
....What dealerships..specifically...have sold a used Telluride for sticker?
certainly not in the 2 states I spend a lot of time in
Indiana, Texas
When you posted that originally I looked nationally at cars.com....lots of used ones discounted
I guess someone could pay sticker for a used one.....sucker born every minute?
Where exactly is a Telluride going for 6K above MSRP?
Seriously..you can move a car across country for $2000 and these Tellurides are certainly not going for sticker in any I state I have been in..or travel to
Hard to believe in this day of the internet age..that people dont shop better
But I guess anything is possible

I was going to say don't feed this troll. He has quite the reputation"Here is this random used car sales site with a handful of customer reviews, it is more factually valid than a decades-spanning non-profit industry-recognized organization that specializes in measuring specific reliability issues with cars." -turnne
Please go troll elsewhere.
Got my car back from the dealer and was told that the oil leak was sealed, I asked, what does that mean and could not get a straight answer as to what was done. Brought my car home and within a few hours noticed a couple of drops of oil, it was still leaking but not as bad, but still leaking. brought it back to the dealer and after a couple of days was told that the timing chain cover was leaking and would require to remove the front bumper assembly to access the chain cover, a big job and it would take 6 to 7 days. I am rapidly losing my confidence in this vehicle and as I had stated in my first post, I only have 27,400 miles on it, crazy. Thanks for that input, good info. I am not sure what it entails on the G90 but along with your info and everything else I am hearing, it is a big deal. I have RWD so at least that's a plus.
I've had the O-ring transmission coolant pipe thing happen to my 2015 G80 5.0. It is literally a .50 cent part. Since I'm 2nd owner, my Indie tech is going to take care of it. My leak is just a dribble though - literally only needed a 1/2 cup of coolant a month to keep it topped off. I've been driving it that way for nearly a year... No biggie, haven't really been able to go anywhere anyway.I have g90 ultimate 2018. It has a TSB about oring leak. I experienced this with all fluid gone while on freeway. Wonderful vehicle, service sucks. One of major Phoenix dealerships just dropped the line due to poor sales, they can't support Genesis requirement of separate brick and mortar and separate service staff. I turn my lease in next month - only has 16,000 miles.
