  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2020 G90 (USA)

This looks like embossed kitchen contact paper?

Looks my hardwood maple floors in my house.

I agree with your opinion on the wood, "Look." Sadly, Matt finish is the look these days in most cars and it does look like contact paper. Jaguar used to have the best wood dash boards in my opinion and they are gone now too. Gloss walnut is the only G90 color that is not matt finish and looks half way decent. I enhanced my matt finish with a wood polish. Looks decent when the sun hits it.

Looks out of place in the bottom. Needs to go above the GENESIS. Just my opinion. Nice car.

No doubt about it. I may change it eventually, depending on what the dealership charges to do it. I don't know if those letters perforate the metal or are glued or what?

Man, I'm sorry but maybe when I'm in my senior years I'll like it. To me, it just looks like an old school, '90s luxury barge. Nothing about it says cutting edge or dynamic. It looks like it would blend into a parking lot full of old Buicks.
You can do what I did. I love my G90 ! I also have a young man living in me that loves sports cars...…….SO...….I got both !90231493_10217008005848678_4852606423575560192_n.webp

Depends on personal opinion. To me, gloss finish in a car looks like plastic. You can feel the grain on matte finishes.

Lol, me too. My G70 is my sunny day fun car, my truck is my DD and the Chevelle was my show car (recently sold at Mecum).

Exactly, not to mention limo drivers. Few really need those back seat options.
I think that us an insult to Buick drivers, this facelift is a failure beyond Buick. But even if it was, to go from targeting Bentleys to Buicks is quitw a downslide. Check out the 2021 Bentley Flying Spur - that is ab elegant grill and tail. Not to mention the details on the interior. Genesis needs to send their Bentley staff back for a reinduction into the essentials of balancing elegance and luxury vs styling overkill.

Whatever.

Don’t drag me into your mess. You’re on your own.
