  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2020 Genesis G90 5.0 V8 Review - Sounds great! Loud, Bold & Luxury Sedan from Genesis.

Does this look like a new interior color? I've never actually seen the interiors of the 2017-2019 G90, but I understand that the non-black one is beige. The color in the 2020 video above looks very tan, not beige, which I would prefer.

Since you have chosen not to include your location in your profile it would be hard to say if this is new for you. How about updating your profile and maybe you can get a relevant answer to your question.

Mcc. Your point is taken, sort of. I'm in NJ if that is really relevant. the questions stands, is it a new interior color? One could have simply answered either yes, no, or yes in USA or not. It's not really that difficult a question to answer is it?

Hate those wheels.

The wheels are a deal breaker.

The wheels are a deal breaker.
I don't think they are that bad, they don't bother me at all. If the wheels stopping you or others from leasing or buying the car then you can replace them especially if the price of the car is very close to the current generation. I doubt 4 wheels should be over 3% of car cost for majority of designs.
For me, the most important thing is how comfortable, quite and plush the drive is. If they are at least on par with current generation and priced right I will lease it again.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
If that's your criteria, look no further then the Mercedes S550.

S class with the same options and model year costs at least 60% more especially when leased. I highly doubt the difference is more than 10-15% in those 3 categories I listed so for me it doesn't makes sense

Absolutely agree.

Genesis promised the redesigned G90 would appear stateside Spring - Summer 2019 but no dealer in my area seems to have any idea when to actually expect them on their lots. My local dealers say they won't get the 2020's until all 2019's have been sold. Who knows how long that might take! Interestingly, I see no mention of the 2020 model on the US Genesis site but their Canadian site features it and offers to keep you informed if an email address is provided.

Meanwhile I have noticed many of the interior features in the forthcoming G90 can already be found in the absolutely stellar 2019 Kia K900 although, sadly, they have dropped the V8 version of that car. I want to actually see the new G90 before making a decision but, today, I think the K900 may be the better choice for me as the G90 is starting to look a lot like a Lincoln Continental and we all seem to agree, the wheels are hideous.

Get a set of those spinners from the 1960s to add a bit of class to the wheels.

Speaking of...

Good thing Genesis followed the K900 in covering the center console/trans tunnel w/ leather; despite really no major changes, makes the interior feel a good bit more premium.

Current G90 is very CLASSY, you can simply see the premium and elegance just by looking at the car. The 2020 G90 is trying too much and while the front may have grown on me the rear is completely s**t. It looks like some homemade uphotted version of a japanese premium brand at best and like an american "premium" car (Lincoln et al) at worst. I can never buy it because of this. You copy so much from other automakers, why couldn't you copy the discreetnes of S classe? Thats discreet, luxury and CLASS. They could have gone wilder with G80 and/or G70 but not their flagship.
