  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Trying to figure out how to open the engine air filter casing on the V8 (2011), but I must be stupidly overlooking something. The owner's manual appears to show 3 release clips, but I can only find 2 - located at the rear of the casing. Releasing just those does not free-up the casing. Can any one tell me if there is a 3rd clip, and where it's located? I've searched the forum for info unsuccessfully on this. Thanks in advance for any help! Bob Burgess

There are only the two clips in back. Release both of them and then push 'back' on the cover. It will slide out from under the 'clip' in the front.
